Has anyone hear how much beach erosion or

how much damage occurred at Gunnison beach? Photos would be most appreciated.

    Check out the group "Gunnison Beach."  So far, there are 3 postings to that group.  It is really sad.  According to one Facebook photo, the hook was entirely submerged.  We can only hope for the 2013 beach season.

    Haven't heard anything from anyone. I wonder how the Seagull's Nest held up to it?

    From what I heard from my contacts on Long Island, Lighthouse Beach at Robert Moses State Park was hit pretty bad. The boardwalk to the beach is all torn up.

    Brace yourself, Gunnison Beach might not be open in 2013.  I have emailed AANR about Hurricane Sandy situation at Gunnison Beach.
