  Have you been to Toadily Natural Gardens ? Great place to spend the afternoon naked, swimming, etc.

  This thread has been inactive for a few years. So I am adding a little to update it. Many of my sources are not official so take them with a little caution.Wisconsin Law:Public Places,Women must cover nipples and breast below nipples. Men and women must cover pubic and butt (technically "rectum"). Opaque cloth required. Possibly bikini or Spedo. G string or thong probably not. Madison, WI has its own less strict ordinances. I have not found good rules yet. Disturbing the Peace laws apply in crowded places. Definitions are vague. You may need more covering.State Parks and State Forests:Follow Wisconsin Law. However, enforcement is by Park Rangers, and policy is to only enforce when there is a complaint. Park Rangers never enforce in State Forests, but there are other state enforcers in the State Forests like Game Wardens. They are extremely rare.National Forests:There are no Federal laws prohibiting nudity in National Forests. There are no National Parks in Wisconsin. There are some other odd National areas that probably prohibit nudity in crowded places. That said, Federal policy is that state and local nudity laws apply. As far as I can tell there is no enforcement in remote places. State Game Wardens can enforce hunting laws in National Forests. I don't think they can enforce State nudity laws.Many nude hikers report, that nude hiking in both State and Federal in Wisconsin is very good. The rule is to take cover along and cover up when clothed people are encountered. It is usually easy to hear people approaching. Some people like to sit quietly. Apologize and quickly cover up. Most nude hikers report that they have never had bad experiences even when exposure happens. Choose little used trails and places.Other EnforcementAll that said, some clothed parents with clothed children can be dangerous. Avoid them at all costs. State and Local Police will enforce nudity laws anywhere. Some are strict. Some only when there is a complaint. Avoid crowded places and flashing emergency lights. Mazomanie Beach on the Wisconsin River has been closed mainly due to sexual activity. Local police now patrol occasionally. Avoid places with a reputation for sexual activity. Sexually explicit behavior in the presence of a child is a sever offense. Don't do it yourself and don't hang around others who do. Generally don't include children when hiking nude. Don't hang around children. There are nude family campgrounds and resorts. The have good reputations. There are "adult" campgrounds.
