For anyone thinking of heading to our great southern land, I am including a link to an articles writen by newspapers in attempt to enlighten the stigma attached to naturism here in Australia. Many beaches that were accepted as 'unofficial' have now been declared officially non-naturist with plain clothes police waiting to catch people (fines for men, warnings for women and couples...) and political groups are trying to shut down what we do have left, or at least confine us to places that are difficult to get to, so please take the time to visit our fine public beaches if you do make your way 'down under'!http://www.smh.com.au/travel/letting-it-all-hang-out-best-nude-beaches-20090204-7xy7.html

Yeah, we have had problems with our beaches in Perht in hte past, & people are still winging tht we have nudist beaches. If they have such a problem with it.. they do ot have to go any where near it... god forbit... a naked body what a hardship to deal with!!
I think that the people that are like that has serious problems with their own bodies!!

WERRONG BEACH (legal) Sydney's only free surf beach in the Royal National Park. Get a train on the South Coast train line to Otford Station. Take the trail to Lady Wakehurst Drive, turn left and walk to the Otford Lookout. From there signs will lead you down to the beach, about a 2km beautiful walk.

If you are going to Werrong Beach be sure to bring all your food, water etc, with you. You might want to bring some other people as wee because you might end up being the only person on the beach. lol

LITTLE CONWONG BEACH (unofficial) Bus to Botany Bay National Park parking lot, turn left across Curong Beach and follow the trail across the rocks at the end to Little Conwong. ( the Police have been raiding Little Conwong, not a legal nudist Beach) There is a group called Sydney Beaches and Australian Nude Places you can join as well.

Just north of Bryon Bay. From the Pacific Highway take the Byron Bay exit onto  Ewingsdale Rd. Drive to townand turn right on Johnson st. Approximatel 8 klms, Banfalow Rd and Broken Head Rd. Turn right into Broken Head Reserve Rd and around 1.5 klms turn right into a dirt road called Seven Mile Beach Rd. You will come to a small car park with a sighn saying King Beach. Take the walk through the rain forest to the beach.

Kings beach is south of Byron, and is predominantly a gay beach. Belongil beach is just north of the main Byron beach and is a legal nude beach that stretches for miles, lovely.

have to agree , we only have the 2 in perth , swanbourne and warnbro , but if the council have there way and the big companies that want to transform the warnbro area will have it closed down, warnbro is a quiet stretch of about 900meters and you fine it a relaxed place, but some in power what it closed gawd forbid , ive been going to the same beach for over 30 years and hope that with a bit of common sense they will leave the beach as it is

Just back from Birdie, where we had a another great day with friends. The 1st couple of visits were marred by undisirables and I would recomend finding a reasonable regular to 'show you the ropes'.

I wish the few could see the damage they and their antics are doing to nudism. Perhaps when there are no legal beaches they will realise!
