Heading to Haulover Beach for a long weekend for hubby's birthday August 7. Anyone tell me best place to stay that is reasonable? Also adult stuff that we might be able to do Friday and Saturday night.  Thanks so much. Amie and Mark

    We've only been to Haulover once and we stayed up in Ft. Lauderdale (it was the day before a nude cruise that left from Ft. Lauderdale). Others going on the cruise stayed at Daddy O Hotel which is much closer to Haulover, in Miami itself. As for things to do at night... you'll be in Miami! There must be tons of things you can do. You could head down to South Beach for the nightlife there.
