Recently moved to the area lower Alabama and I am looking for a beach that is nude friendly. None that I know of. I heard that Johnson Beach in National Seashore has been talked about as a place for naturist to visit. Has anyone been and what should I know before going? The eastern part of peninsula is the location ...is that right? Lagoon side or Gulf?

HDlonewolfAug 19, 2023We did visit a couple days ago! Drive to the turn around on the east end, drop your stuff and park only in the designated area. Walk about a half mile from the turn around and you will begin to see nudists enjoying the beach! Not legal so keep a watchful eye and be respectful of textiles!

Looking to possibly go Friday, how often are the rangers patrolling and how on alert does one need to be? Going with the apprehensive wife, last thing I need is a run in with cops.

Did you get to Johnson beach? My girl at the time was not a nudist but I really enjoyed that beach! Would have enjoyed taking a walk but she wasn't up for me leaving her alone and she wasn't going for a walk past naked guys...I plan to return next August
