Hi I'm looking to see what beaches Sydney nudist most frequent! I was always going to lady bay, but once I tried Little Conwong in La Perouse I enjoyed it a whole lot more!! What are your thoughts?

Hi there, I've been to Lady Bay (easiest to get to from car), Cobblers (nice and relaxed, most gender equality), and Werrong (by far the hardest beach to get to). I'd love to meet others to go to the beach with (female/straight guys/couples). Send a friend req, and we can arrange something.

Cobblers Beach is probably the most popular and accessible. Seems to have a diverse range of people.

I've only walked through cobbler, never stayed. However we sail our dinghy near it almost every Saturday. It always seems popular and there is a range of ages and types. When I take friends out for a sail they always get a little excited when we go near Cobblers.

I am a regular at Cobblers. It's closest to me plus there is a really nice relaxed feel. No pressure to look beautiful (suits me!). When I can, I do like to try other beaches. I tend to prefer commonly used beaches so I don't have to be looking over my shoulder all the time. Obelisk is nice for a change - usually clean water as it faces the heads. Lady Bay is good at low tide and tends to also have a younger crowd - along with the older guys. Birdie is beautiful - you can walk naked a long way. Werrong is also beautiful and includes a long naked walk down and up. Samurai is a very long open beach - plenty of room to be by yourself or to choose to be nearer others. Washaway is only good at low tide - a hairy climb down but worth it.

I regularly go to Werrong Beach.

Its a 2 hour return walk but as the track solely services the nude beach its quite acceptable to walk the 2 kms nude. Its the perfect place for a naturalist walk.
I try to do the walk every Sunday morning and would love some early morning company.

Birdie Beach would have to be one of the best in terms of setting and access.
I live in Brisbane (no'legal' nude beaches up here) and make sure I always call at birdie on my couple of trips to Sydney each year.
Even called by in late autumn and had a great time on the sand and in the water.

Would be great if there were some social groups who can help us interstate visitors get on to the Sydney beaches.
Travel on my own often... Nothing worse than being a solo male on a beach new to you. Boring and can't help but feel the strange looks!

Oh man you need to explore, as each beach has a different energy...

    Suggestions..

    - Coblers (Mosman) vanilla nudey beach, faces north, protected, easy track good parking but $10 / day
    - Obliesk (Mosman) lovely mostly gay, less sand and you lose the sun early, lovely stairs and good parking but $10 / day
    - Washaway (Clontarf) wild Harbour beach lots of rocks need to be relatively agile to get down on the sand, and a bit rugged track
    - Reef (Manly) no more...
    - Lady Bay lovely
    - Little Congwong beautiful, but on a busy day more of a gay hangout beach than a nude beach as 10-1 nudies to textiles
    - Birdie Beach bit of a drive from Sydney, around 2 hours, parking a bit tight, good camping, and lovely waves... take lunch and drinks
