How many sun lovers out there have tangled with skin cancer?

I have that Irish skin that does not like the sun. My freckles get bigger and darker. When they run together I have a tan.

The doctor checks them out about once a year.

My mom died from Melanoma.  It's one of the most lethal and hereditary forms of cancer.  As I age, I become much more careful.

The amount of sun we should get for vitamin D is as little 5 minutes to about 30 minutes twice a week, depending on time of year and latitude.
