So this is a real question please read whole before you scrap as it will sound like scam.
So I have recently joined a major dating site to meet a women for a real relationship so I believe in being real honest as possible within the 500 word allowance. So my question do I put on the bio that I am a nudist or will this scare most off. I do hope that I will meet someone who will join me on the journey but as long as they are ok with me then I will live with it. I found on here many men in particular hide there nudism to there partner, I don't want this. thanks Ade

Aug 22, 2026Most people are initially put off when meeting a stranger who, upfront flaunts nudism. Most people equate nudity with sexually explicit activity and pull away. It takes time to un-learn a life time of cultural behavior. Let the issue come up naturally as each of you begin to become acquainted.
If it is an accidental encounter, there is usually less rejection. Just be polite and cover up. The issue is now open and you have reacted civilly. Sometimes you will find the other person is also a nudist or a nudist wanna-be. If you don't push hard, even a non-nudist can slowly become a nudist.
I have been gently persuading my wife to join me in Naturist activities. She has gone through all the rejection phases and this week has finally relaxed and spent time outdoors with me at a clothing optional campground. So amazing progress. There is still a way to go, but good progress.
Breaking the issue gradually and gently has the best chance of succeeding.

I would not put the fact that you are a nudist in your profile at the dating site as that would probably turn off the great majority of women. Wait until you have been dating a person for a while before bringing up the topic.
