Snow blanketed the upper half of the country this weekend with more on the way.  Who's got it in them to get out and make snow angels, nude?  Let's show all those in the sunny, warm, south, that there's more to this than just avoiding tan lines.  Come on TRUE nudists!  Proof will be in new posted pics on the profiles... just remember, be quick about it.... I know I have said this before, but for any brave souls, contemplating this for the first time, the trick is to be quick, and I STRONGLY recommend that you have the hot tub on standby, or at the very least, set the shower running at the right temp BEFORE you do it. In fact, the ideal is to come strait OUT of a sauna, or a very hot shower, or tub, and THEN do it. I used to do that before a quick icy dip in my pool and It really does make you feel fantastic. Definitely one for the "Things to do before I die" list!
DISCLAIMER ::  Going from a hot tub directly into a cool pool does feel great, but it *can* cause a heart attack. I'm not at all sure about going into snow, though. I know that from a sauna I can comfortably walk in 10F degree still air for a while, maybe 15 minutes. Crawling out of my nice, cozy warm electric blanket set on high in the morning, I can be comfortable  in my 50F degree house ( gas bill, you know ) for about an hour. Otherwise, give me 75F and above. When you find snow that stays 77F I'll be there !!

So far this season we've had three takers on the challenge...Blueyez, CoguyCO and NudeinMA.  Big Hoorahs for all three.  We'll join you as soon as we get some snow!!!! (Might be tomorrow according to the weatherman!) On occasion some may question the veracity of a picture.  Sometimes we're right, sometimes we're wrong...but it's still all in good fun. The best example of being wrong can be found onpage 2, post #16- Beachlover (no longer with TN)  had to break through a crust of ice to get to the snow. An example of being correct about falsified pics can be found onpage 3, post #31/32- Honehe with the snorkeler. But by far the best example of everyong being correct can be found in the "True confession"on page 6 post #76- Terranceandmia, they proved to be having so much fun and gave us all such a great laugh that they were quickly forgiven and allowed admittance into the club.  We had the pleasure of meeting Terrance and Mia last spring on our trip down south.  And they are truly as much fun in person! This season, so far, one person has been questioned as to the validity. And we werewrong!  Our hats (and coats and shirts and pants and underwear too for that matter)  are off to you Nudeinma!  Welcome to the TNSAC!  (True Nudist Snow Angel Club) Jen and Steve

It snowed here, too.  About 4-5 inches on the ground.  But it has already turned to freezing rain.Jen

Still no snow here, just -(f) temps. Sorry ppl, I may go sometimes outside naked in weather like this, but it is only for a minute or so, and I will not hit the ground. Maybe if it warms up, it will snow. I may try it then.
I wonder what he'd tell the ambulance guys if he fell off the ladder. "Well, there I was putting up my Christmas lights on the back of my house, and ..." "In the BACK? Why? Who sees them?" "I don't know. But it proves that I have Christmas spirit, right?" "Yeah, sure, gotcha. So what's next?" "So there I am up on the ladder putting up the lights, and I look over toward my neighbor's house... "You're up on a ladder and your attention wasn't on what you were doing?" "Well ... I was distracted when I saw motion out of the corner of my eye." "That happens. And?" "And I saw this naked guy making snow angels in his back yard, and..." "Uhhhh... sir, did you hit your head when you fell?" "I tell you, he was bare-assed and he was making snow angels." "Okay, sir. You just lie on the stretcher here and we'll be going."
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Sounds like a fool proof way to get a prudish neighbour, put away for good!
It's probably a bit late to ask, but what is a "snow angel"?
It had me foxed for quite a while, it's not something that we do too much of, here in the UK.   It is the impression you leave, after laying down in the snow, and flapping your arms and legs.   Of course, for this challenge, it HAS to be done nude.   And photographic evidence, is required.   Not recommended unless, you have a hot shower running, or a Hot Tub standing by.

Two feet of snow is too deep for a snow angel.  It was about two feet in South Jersey.
