Le Bump!
ReactReply - CO
Curt, or CowboyJan 7, 2010
Is this what's referred to as a "Bump"?
A "bump" in message board parlance is merely useless activity to update the time stamp on a particular thread to make it current, such as posting the word "bump" and nothing more. In this case, the thread already being more or less current, I'd say not. It's merely wasted space. The FAST thread, which gets bumped every week or so, is more representative of a true bump, where little or no actual content is added for weeks or months at a time. ( though it's a thread that should be a sticky, negating the need for a bump )ReactReply - RA

And then the entertainment is nude snow angels.
Lol, Catbird, that's EXACTLY what it was! We had a nude year's party, all guests were members of TN. Some drove down from MA and some up from NJ. My husband got the count wrong. It was six angels not five (he forgot about ME!) Can't believe we convinced so many to do the snow angels! We would have had 3 more, making the total 9 but some had to leave earlier because of the long drive home. JenReactReply
- MEMemberOriginal PosterJan 8, 2010BTW, whoever added "Last page" to the first Forum entry, thank you, that's brilliant!
Thanks, BX, a great tip I learned from Phil! JenReactReply

Don't see how answering a legitimate question, can be seen as a waste of space,
but we could argue about it,
if you really feel it's worth the space, and time!
Incidentally bx, just to add value to this post,
Your extra post was not a bump, those are deliberate, it was an accidental double post, these occur when the page doesn't reload properly and the poster, thinking that it hasn't gone through, hits submit again, or when ones finger has a twitch :) To avoid this happening, if the page does not reload, click back twice, and then refresh to see your new comment or edit. If it has not come out, you can click back until you find the edit page and then hit submit again.

ThomasFeb 12, 2010
Okay everyone...snow has blanketed states that rarely get snow...any new takers in the Annual Snow Angel Challenge?
I would have to drive a few hours north, my part of TX didn't get snow, but my son called and said he had snowball fight at work, and he is only 35 miles away. But it wasn't enough to do snow angel.ReactReply - MEMemberOriginal PosterFeb 13, 2010

Finally someone from tx with nude snow angel bragging rights edit: Sorry Joachim! I just remembered you're from Texas. So Thomas, finally someone else from Tx with bragging rights! SReactReply

Cheri Donna DawsonFeb 13, 2010We had about 8 to 10 inches of snow over night. When it was only a few inches, I went outside au naturale and made and threw a snow ball. THAT was fun. I couldn't get my husband or my cats to go outside. LOL
CheriReactReply - MEMemberOriginal PosterFeb 13, 2010

Okay everyone...snow has blanketed states that rarely get snow...any new takers in the Annual Snow Angel Challenge?
I heard on CNN yesterday that forty-nine of the fifty states (yes, even Florida) have snow on the ground somewhere. Only state that doesn't is Hawaii. It even snowed in Rome, Italy.
LOL! Alright then...no more excuses! Everyone, get out there and flail your arms and legs around. You too, Cheri! (Snowballs is a nice start...) JenReactReply

Great job, Catbird!
I can't believe I'm saying this but...CT didn't get a single flake of snow in the first storm last week and although we got about 5 inches in the 2nd storm, it had all melted away by the next day. Possibility of snow tonight, so just maybe we can do it again!

Cheri Donna DawsonFeb 16, 2010Jen, It melted way too fast at our place to our cats' delight. The roads cleared up even faster than our yard. I'm worried about that snowman built about a mile from our place. He seems to have gone away too. :(

catbirdFeb 16, 2010Very good photo. Exhilarating isn't it.
So this one is in broad daylight. I sort of suspected that past snow angel pictures were after dark. I admire your gumption.ReactReply - MEMemberOriginal PosterFeb 16, 2010
Very good photo. But it's the middle of a storm...so....I got brave! Still wondering about that car though was it slowing down for the stop sign just past our driveway or.... JenReactReply

Our dear friend, Phil, is accusing us of pulling a TandM. LOL! Says the heavy black line looks like a photoshop job. It's taken from a video clip. Will post one of the stills later. Just for you, Phil!
