Has Truenudist's policy on pictures of guys with erections and girls with spread legs pussy shots changed? I ask because there are now a lot of those pics on peoples profiles. I thought that every picture someone puts up has to be approved first by a mod. If that is the case then they see these pics and give their ok. I don't mind the erection and pussy shots, personally I wouldn't post that kind of pic on my profile but can understand other people doing it. I was just wondering if the rules have changed.

renebbareMar 3, 2011The criteria for photo upload to your profile is quite clearly stated. - Manage My PicturesPhoto Guidelines..Please follow them1. Your profile photo (1st picture)must contain you. Afterwards you may upload any photos you like 2. Pleaseno erection shots, crotch shotsor pornographic photos 3.No Spread Eagle, or shots where thebutt, genitals or anus are the main focus point.4. Images containing nudity can not contain anyone under the age of 18. 5. We are no longer approving pictures that contain only genitals, 6.If you choose not to show your face then you may not show your genitals.7. All Photos are approved at the discretion of the administrator. 8. Filesize must be 1MB If your picture is denied, and it meets all of the rules above, try re-uploading it. We have accidentally deleted pictures before. If it is deleted again, find another picture So clearly the 'erection and pussy shots' you do not mind are in breach of the rules and hence why they get flagged. Myself I don't mind them iether ON A PORN SITE - this is a nudist site and they have no place here!ReactReply - MEMemberMar 3, 2011
There is one person checking pics. And there are literally well over 30,000 pics on the site. That is why site admin has asked for everyone's help in monitoring pics with the flagging system. If you see something that is a blatant and flagrant disregard of the site spirit and rules, then flag the profile, stating exactly why you are flagging it.

Cheri Donna DawsonMar 3, 2011I believe that TT1 moderates only the certification and profile photos and leaves the rest of them up to us to flag or not.

I have uploaded over 10 pictures and every one of them has taken a day or so before they were approved. But it has been a few months since I uploaded the last one and in that time I have been seeing a lot more erection and pussy shots on peoples profiles than ever before.ReactReply - DI

HimMay 10, 2011For a nudist site it is full of erect cocks, and photos of women in a style that look like a porn mag photo shoot.
For example - women in negligee, back to camera, hands on wall, legs spread, ass up. Now it was a nice erotic pic, but Im not sure it belongs on a nudist site. Just sayin'.ReactReply - GR
greg1792May 10, 2011Erection photos do not worry me - for some of us if we did not have an erection you would see nothing! What about a woman with erect nipples? People being hung up on sex - it is real - it happens - this is life!

Cheri Donna DawsonMay 11, 2011
make cherridonna a mod shes the godess of nude ,she'l delete every pic on here lol
Firstly, I don't have the time to deal with all the inappropriate photos here plus I doubt TT! would make me a mod in any capacity since he doesn't listen to me when I tell him (email him) that at least 2 of the clubs aren't in existance that are listed on the location page and one 28-year old club going strong isn't listed. I don't believe I'm above others, but I do dislike photos that are not nudist on this site.ReactReply - HI
HimMay 11, 2011
The important thing is that we not perpetuate the delusion that nudism is all about sex, not to create the illusion that nudists don't have sex like everyone else. The uninitiated tend to think nudism equates to a sexual free-for-all, so the purpose of this site is to allow us to get away from that unfavorable stereotype. This site was highlighted to accentuate the non-sexual aspects of nudism. What sexual elements do exist in nudist communities as much as in textile communities, can and should be explored elsewhere than on this site.
This is "spot on". There are plenty of places to post erotic pics on the internet, but very few nudist sites. Thank you for explaining it so that anyone should be able to understand it.ReactReply - WE
westheathenMay 11, 2011I agree, although the pervs are unlikely to understand it as I doubt they read the forums.

lmao, right? Someone would actually have to care to read the rules in the first place, and that's what makes it so hard to find a decent, legitimate nudist site.ReactReply - BW
Brentanon WolfeMay 11, 2011

Seems to me the ones most hung-up on sex are not the nudists here.
Such seems to always be the case.
Kinda true, sex should be a non-issue, because itisjust as natural as the human body and life itself. But, I know myself personaly, I don't come here to look at erect penises and wide open vaginas, I only want to make friends with people who enjoy the same comforts as I do. And in that sense the site should be as comfortable a place as an evening camp fire would be at my house. If someone wants to "do the deed", they can go off and find a secluded spot to do so. Granted if we were in person, erections may happen from time to time, but in a situation such as this, the individual user chooses the pictures they want to upload. So when you come across pictures such as those mentioned in this thread, you know that the user deliberatly uploaded that peticular photo to the site. This means that you now have a member who is blatently disobeying the rules, which tends to lead to problems for the rest of the law-abiding community.ReactReply - MEMemberMay 12, 2011
Their stated policy is that this kind of content is NOT allowed. When I first joined a few years ago, I was getting friend requests from a lot of people with pure porn in their photos. When I reported it using true nudists' report feature, nothing ever happened. Weeks and months later the same pornographic photos would still be there. That's why I quit coming here for so long. Lately I figure to just be a steady presence promoting non-sexually oriented nudism to counter act stuff like that. I don't know if TN removes that stuff when it's reported now, but I know they didn't in the past.

Cheri Donna DawsonMay 12, 2011
There is a difference between a woman showing her 'pussy' and a man having an erection. An erection is a result of an arousal, while a 'pussy' shot is just a woman proud of her body -- which is ok!
WRONG. Just showing the external vagina is fine, just like showing a flaccid penis. However, when the interior lips are viewable, that is definitely not fine.ReactReply - IN

ReactReply - JOJohnRockwellMay 12, 2011
This is such a stupid thing to police, if it is someones private profile where the pics are only visible to their friends, what the **** does it matter, if you dont like them, dont look at them. I would never flag someone for having a sexually provocative photo, we are all adults, wish the holier than thou amoung you would just live and let live..
No, it is not someone's "private profile". When they put up a profile/picture etc. on TN, they have to follow the rules that the site administrator sets. The site administrator is only letting you use his site because he expects you to go along with his rules. Oh, and since we are all adults, we should certainly know better than to swear...ReactReply

HimMay 12, 2011It's apparent that self regulation doesn't work. Moderators are a needed part of any large forum. They are integral to the smooth running of a forum such as this. The rules are in place for a reason and if you don't agree with them you can choose not to participate in the forum or you could always start your own site and run it any way you see fit.
Also, why is it that as soon as erotic pictures are criticized, people throw out the "I shouldn't have to be ashamed and hide my body" crap. You can show your body, just do it tactfully and not in a sexual or pornographic way. I can see porn any time I want on the web, I come here for nudist related subjects, not to view sexual photos of you and yours.ReactReply - RU
rusty62May 12, 2011
I believe that TT1 moderates only the certification and profile photos and leaves the rest of them up to us to flag or not.
I flag and post the reason. I then private post the offender and tell them why I flagged them. Not sure if that helps.ReactReply - BE
BeachNudistMay 12, 2011
a guy with an erection is not porn - it happens - so when i'm out hiking and get an erection - I'm suppose to hide it? I think it is all in the context of what the person is doing - I don't understand why a erect penis is considered to be porn - I'm not saying there shouldn't be rules, but it seems like it's always the males who are treated differently and the males have to hide. I thought this was a time of equal rights - I have seen some female shots on here that I flagged and was told it was acceptable - the pic was only of the female genitals - if a male posted only an erect penis he would be kicked out
Here here!ReactReply - SS
Scott SmithMay 12, 2011I think they are just wanting to avoid the site becoming all about sex. However, I confess, being a gay nudist, I like seeing guys that are "up". Any gay men who wanna see my "up" pics, send me message and maybe send me yours.
ReactReply - TO
TomMay 13, 2011OK I'm not gay and I have absolutely no problem with seeing guys with erections in their photos, like has been said, sometimes there is nothing to do with sex causing an erection, I've had erections in some of the most uncomfortable places before now caused by nothing more than tiredness or the rubbing of my jeans if I'm sitting in a vehicle, I still remember the first time I overtook a car on a two way road after I passed my driving test, the thrill gave me an erection. Last month when I took some pictures of myself down at the nudist beach a few of them showed me with an erection because the cool breeze caused it but I decided not to post them here so not to upset others, maybe next time I won't worry about it so much.
