People who have blank or private profiles who send friend requests. People who have no nude pics that want to be friends. They obviously haven't read our profile.

Those who think a site for people who enjoy not wearing clothes is a good place to preach politics, of whatever sort.

Concerning the initial post, I feel there is no reason to delete old posts in group threads, there are old posts that are still relevent. As and example, deleteing a post about a place to go skinni dipping that was posted a year ago is still relevent.

Concerning blank or empty profile, I do not accept friend requests from people that have them unless I have gotten to know them through either chat or forum and I don't care if they have nude pics. There are valid reasons someone won't post a lot of informtion or pics. There are also people who delete their profile because they get fed up with things on here but return because they miss the redeming qualities of the site. That does not mean they are a troll that was banned from the site from another country and has returned to continue the trolling.

I am really disappointed to see that again a thread has degenerated into personal attacks. It doesn't matter who made the first rude comment in some past thread. Attacking someone who posts in a thread because of something that was said in a previous thread is totally uncalled for.

My biggest pet peeve is people insisting on constantly inserting pictures in posts that have no redeming quality in the forum post.  I have a slow connection and a download limit with my connection.

I love that a pic was used in response to my comment about people inserting pics that had no relevence. In this case, my slow connection is due to the fact that I do not live in town where cable internet service is available. Satalight connection is avaiable only if you catch one of the providers when they are adding service in an area and they also have download limits. I have to use service that goes through a tower and due to hills and distance, the signal is weak. I know of some who have a problem because their computer is old and slow. A new computer or higher priced internet connection may not be possible for some due to financial reasons. That doesn't diminish the value of their contributions to the forums or this site.

Yes, it was my choice to live here, there are some things more important than getting blazing fast internet.

NIMA, hughesnet and wildblue are the two I checked into, I know people who have them.  HN is a good price if you purchase the equipment, but has high cost for that when I checked.  Every time I have checked, they have been "not adding service in your area"

Notice no pic with this to slow you down, sorry about that, but I have a faulty keypad and it's easier for me to talk with pictures ( less mistakes to keep editing).

Cheri, I also use an aircard and it is faster than dialup.  But the speed is related to the cell phone signal and I don't get a good signal at my house.  I had to move my computer upstairs to get a better signal by having less of a hill blocking the signal.

unless i'm missing something - not being as moderator of a group and not being able to delete old post, use to be able to but when they reformated they seemed to have removed that option .

It's interesting to note that most of these Pet Peeves were expressed over 2 years ago but are just as valid today. I guess it's true that, even though things and circumstances change, human nature remains the same.

So many people look forward to seeing my funny pictures, in order to get through what would otherwise be a very dull thread, due to the devil trolls that infest us on a daily basis.
