I am a member of 12 groups on this site. And a creator of 1. And going thru the groups I noticed a lot of old postings. And I noticed before posting this. The forum  is guilty as well  . Now granted, I had not participated in the other groups as much as I should. However That is no escuse for having old postings.  And I can guess that there is A LOT of other groups have a lot of old postings as well.
Here is the breakdown in my circle of groups.
1 group 4yrs ago
6 groups 3 yrs ago
5 groups 2 yrs ago
The Forum 3 yrs ago.
My group.? Beer Brewers and Wine Makers.
I delete anything past 6 months old.
I challenge ALL Moderators and Creators of groups to be more involved .
Start deleting ALL Old Posts, Anything older than a year get rid of it.
I chose 6 months, However if anything needs re-posting I'll do it.
Just to keep MY group fresh

Surely we as adults should be able to respond constructively to other posts without resorting to denigrating personal criticism as has happened so much on this and other forum topics.

Agreed, although this thread in particular does permit some level of latitude considering the topic title. That said, the silliness of two in particular is very...silly.

Interesting.  I am not the only person who has commented on how peaceful and fun these forum threads were when you absented yourself.  You seem to come back with the intention of inciting and enflaming.  Sad.  And silly.

Isn't calling people "idiots" "resorting to denigrating personal criticism"?

Isn't calling people "idiots" "resorting to denigrating personal criticism"?
It depends on the context, Johnny. Sometimes it is deserved; not an insult, but an accurate label. Like MOW said, when they come in and throw bombs instead of conducting a discussion.

Well that is simply the height of irony!  You are anonymous.  You use your extreme right wing politics and religion to disapprove and condemn on here.  But without the courage to back any of it up with an identity.  I'm sure that you enjoy looking at nude people, but have no claim whatsoever towards being a nudist.
What is a more credible illustration of a nudist-one who provides a time tested illustration of what's inside himself through thoughtful and courteous discussions, or simply a nude picture poolside, holding a can of beer and telling others to do it his way or 'shut the hell up' ? Who would be a more interesting companion around a campfire at DeAnza Springs to talk about whatever variety of subjects over the course of the evening?
Oh-Raven-how is one determined to be a dirtbag? What are the criteria?
Is there something wrong with having a beer poolside at a nudist event, in the company of other nudists? You make it sound like there is. Have you ever been to De Anza Springs? Have you ever been anywhere in the company of other nudists, other than on this website?   Again, any excuse not to certify isverysuspect.  Otherwise you are just another faceless, anonymous being. We don't know if you're male or female. I suspect that yourself, Gasman, and Dan & Jeanette are all the same person with different faceless, uncertified profiles.  As members here, it is our responsibility to call out the fakes and phonies, to keep this site clean.

It really isn't surprising in the least.  They come to gawk.  They are titillated by the sight of naked people, but they feel guilt and shame about that.  So by simply transferring that onto others, it allows them to feel morally superior.  And they desperately need that.  So I guess that we should just allow them that, and accept that there will always be an element of that in the community.
Nothing wrong with a beer at poolside. DAS is on the list-and no nudist events yet. As you know.
You are still skirting around my points. Tough to beat the logic, huh? And, again-what is a dirtbag? And--what right do you have to tell someone to 'shut the hell up' ? And, why do you keep asking for my picture?

And why do you confuse certification with your picture being displayed?  Not a requirement at all.  "Skirting" that point, aren't  you?  Unable to provide any legitimate answer?  Clearly a lurker.

I don't know what points you are referring to. As far as sitting around a campfire talking about a variety of subjects... It might be hard to do with you unless there's an internet connection fireside. The only illogical thing ..is not certifying yourself and pretending to be part of a nudist community.

Whatever he/she is, we will never know.  It is most likely that they are someone who likes to play with themselves while looking at pictures of naked people.  Men, women, who knows?  But anyone who refuses to actually declare their own identity on a nudist website is truly pathetic.
Conduct is a far better qualifier than a picture laying in bed trying to look seductive. Well, at least for the purposes of being someone who is in tune with the standards of the AANR or TNS.  Conduct-like repeated shadowing of another for the purposes of personal insults, unwarranted attacks, attempts at discrediting without offering substance, and asking for pics is certainly an indication of character and credibility that is undesirable among True Nudists-certification or not.
That's very true, Bruce, but just like any other internet community, this site will always be blighted by childish crap form the resident troll trio. Unfortunately, certification will never weed out the disruptive immature babblers.

And, to prove my point, one of them will shortly reply to this post, with even more argumentative dribble.
Yeah, you're right, MOW. I've made my points. They've shown that they can't counter legitimate points. All they can do is distract by claiming the false mantle of certification as a qualifier when behavior, thoughtfulness and intellect are far greater indicators than a digital image. So, barring anything substantive, I'm done with this little pet peeve discussion. It's old and tired.
