  There is supposed to be but I have tried for several groups and only had a response from the admins on one. Meanwhile the site as you have said is overrun with all the spam accounts.

  Same here. I've offer to take over a couple of groups and have not heard back. I was successful becoming the mod on one group, and I've been deleting spam the day it gets posted. It seems that the main spammer (Liza_r4753) may have given up.

  I agree with the excess spam & have likewise volunteered to oversee / aid in removing the offenders. The problem is that one or a select few folks must have a *higher* authority to delete the ne*er-do-wells across the site; this would amount to a super-mod with powers very similar, I suspect, to TT1 & 2s admin abilities. The fakes are relatively easy to spot when they sign up when checking the now non-functioning feed; you could almost spot them as they came onboard. A check a few minutes later to the newest or most recent group posts would show their exact actions. It would be easy to fix it quickly but the administrative desire is not present. They are clearly uninvolved & appear to moving further in that direction. Personally, I would play my cards close to the vest and watch how it plays out.

  If the Trues would simply delete all the dead accounts that must be in the hundreds of thousands , this site would be manageable again. Then they could focus on the spam accounts Some people have not logged in for a decade. They should prune every account and group with no activity in the last 2 years. Just set up a couple lines of coding and zap. But they won't do it because it looks good to the potential players if you show a half million.

  And some people might be wanting in some social media sites, including the "Trues" in this website, to run the site with bots as the majority of users. That is so wrong. I might not be on this website much longer if they really cannot take care of the fakes and scammer and bring a healthy community of naturists or nudists into effect. That is where a lot of this comes from.

  It is that they don't want to prevent alienating their users, so they tolerate all of the scammers and pushers that do not try at all to be diplomatic, and the admins here let the scammers in in the first place and tolerate the people that are chasing away the good users. They then replace their total number of users with numbers filled with bots and dead accounts to bring higher projections for their total users numbers to make themselves look like the most popular site, even when they would be making the site totally run by bots.

  Facebook and Google and YouTube are doing the work to make AI bots the most common users of their services and doing the majority of the work for their companies. The Al is making fake profiles at these companies and are not keeping the older real users of the websites. They are losing users at Facebook, Google, and YouTube, and they are letting people created by a Computer Program make their site look like it has more users when they are losing views and users on these websites.

  Facebook and Google and YouTube force you to create an account to watch either all content or some of the content, then you interact with their bots on their platform and you can't ever find your friends you know in reality on there unless your friends both like those services and really don't care about AI. Then scam bots are still very trying to scam you if they are the ones owned by Criminals, and the Facebook bots are the only ones working online on Facebook and are not working to take out the few bots and fake profiles run by criminals. The smaller the website, the worse it is with the bots if one does not address the causes of bots and scams.

  The internet is mostly bots. The bots are mostly malicious. And soon, the majority of bots will be chat web-bots on Facebook and Instagram and on social media in X and on YouTube.

  The companies should turn this around, or else the bots will take over their companies and services. True Nudists should take effect to prevent becoming "Nudist Myspace" or "Nudist Facebook" in the present day. Neither are good paths to go down.

  You are correct. It would also help to limit the ability of accounts to post to those who have completed at least a percentage of their profile and have been on the site for a predetermined period of time. That would also slow down bots. But I don't think the will is there, and the bots serve the purpose of inflating the numbers.   Right. Plus the AI takeover is desired by companies like Google, Facebook, and other tech leading companies out there. So tragic and unmistakably evil. I cannot believe these sites at all.

  You're so right John. The site needs a deep cleaning to get rid of all the porn/spam bots but nobody seems to be doing it.

  Ive noticed the same thing, and it really does take away from the friendly atmosphere were all here for. Its a shame when the original group founders arent around anymore to step in. I do think it would make sense for active members to have the option of becoming moderators so we can keep the spaces enjoyable and respectful. Maybe if enough of us raise the issue with the admin team, theyll consider giving more responsibility to people who are still here every day.

  The solution is simple:
  
  1. Read only until you are paid and/or certified. (I would exempt those long time accounts that have shown they are genuine).
  2. No posting media until you are paid and/or certified. This includes the profile photo -and- the profile photo must be of you or something innocuous. No celebrities, no random photos off the internet of porn stars.
  3. Delete the non-paid accounts after a year of inactivity. Legal reasons may prevent the deletion of paid accounts, even if not active for an extended period of time.
  4. Disable posting to any group/forum that ceases being actively moderated for more than 30 days. Delete it after a year if no one takes over active monitoring.
  5. Delete any group/forum that goes more than a year without any activity. Many of the groups are repeats of the same thing, and they should be merged if possible.

  As a nudist, I find it really frustrating to see how much sex spam has crept into spaces that are supposed to be about body freedom, relaxation, and community. Nudism is not about sex, and when spam takes over groups, it pushes away genuine people who are just looking to share experiences or connect healthily.

  It doesnt help that many group founders are no longer active. If there isnt some kind of mechanism to appoint new moderators for those groups, the problem will just keep growing, and nudist voices will be drowned out by people who dont respect what nudism actually means. It would make sense to allow trusted, current members to step into those roles so that we can protect our spaces and keep them focused on naturism rather than adult spam.

  Mika, you are correct. However, the real root cause is the lack of active site admins. For example, I've been frustrated by spam on a couple of popular groups I am a member of. The moderators are long gone. I successfully got the admins to let me take over the moderation of one such site years ago. For the past year or two, any similar request has fallen on deaf ears.

  the mainstream turn more and more into individualism. the woman's don't like to be touched, everything is sexual and the mans are see everything at a woman as sexual. it went so extreme, even in alternative projects with people with some awareness.

People, please proofread before hitting that 'save changes' button. It makes your post into something a lot more appealing and understandable. It gets pretty sad when the sex posts - which are getting stupidly common these days - are easier to read than the real nudist/naturist's posts. Thanks for the mammaries ~andthe clarity!

[/quote] I hadn't thought about this before, but you're right. Most of the sex posts seem to have perfect spelling, although their grammar is sometimes off.
