Totally fun question. If you could chose how tall you were what height would you be? Is that taller or shorter than you currently are? I am 5'-7". But wish I had hit 5'-11". What are your numbers?

JeffSep 19, 20196'5" but would have preferred to be shorter as it makes things difficult - like fitting into a racecar

GSNPhilSep 19, 2019I was 5'11" thru my 40's but began to shrink in my 50's. I was 5'10" last time I checked. I'm ok with that. If I were 6' or 200 lbs, I would feel like I'm taking up too much space in the world. And as a lifelong avid sailor, a bit shorter would be better. Maybe 5'8" with a short body and long arms and legs. Sort of monkey like. And while I'm wishing, a prehensile tail would be great :-)

Roy StephensSep 19, 20195'11, 190 lb. Love to be 165 lb and a 6 pack on my belly....lol
Quit smoking 2 years ago and I just knew I was going to gain a lot of weight but so far I've only gained about 10-15 lbs. I've really tried to watch how much I eat though because I knew most ppl that quit gain large amounts of weight.

To get to an ideal BMI I should be 7' 2". That's not going to happen and though I've been working at it losing the 90 pounds to get there has been a very difficult challenge.
I too have often wished for a prehensile tail and opposable toes as well. No matter what your height, it seems there are occasions when you are too short and others when you are too tall. I'd rather be too short than have to duck while passing through a standard doorway.

BerkySep 19, 2019I wish I was 6 foot 3 inches, built like that guy in the underwear ads, hung like a horse, and being 25 years old wouldn't hurt either. I know...dream on...right...? LOL

I concur with berky! Underwear model would be great way for me to be!

AlSep 20, 2019I'm OK with my adult height (69") but not crazy about the shrinking that has started (about 1/2"). I don't want to have to shorten my pants any more. Maybe start hanging by my feet?

RyanSep 20, 2019I've always been 6', but shrinking some days a little. And that's a perfect height IMO.

DiffidentDoofusSep 21, 2019I'm only 5'11. I hoped I'd be 6'2 after my grandmother told me I might be since her uncle was

Lakeman221Sep 21, 2019
Just shy of 6' and 185ish. would like to lose 5ish.
That would put you at just shy of 5'7" then. Getting your feet amputated could reduce your height by 5 inches, but a rather drastic step to take.ReactReply - OOooigorSep 22, 2019
i am just happy with my 5'8" height. if i were taller or shorter, my clothes wouldn't fit.

Lakeman221Sep 22, 2019Pretty satisfied with my 6' 3' height. If I were any taller my feet wouldn't reach the ground, unless I tiptoed.
ReactReply - NUnudeyooperSep 22, 2019
I'm 5'9" I wear an American size 13 shoe. Because of how big my feet are, I feel like I should have grown to be at least 6' tall.
We must be twins. My dad once teased me by saying that I should have been six feet tall but was folded over too soon. I took a lot of teasing over my foot size. Did you?ReactReply

Dyslexic GuySep 23, 2019I was 5 10" for the longest time, as I hit my 60s, then I was 5 9". Shoe size as well as manhood size. I am average in size, with a 9.5 shoe size.

noodengr2Original PosterSep 23, 2019There is an advantage to being around 5'-8" and 180 lbs. That is the size they design airbags for in car crashes. They had to pick a size and average is a good one
