Which of the following do you not own?
Underwear?
Swimwear?
Long pants?
Shirts.
The only one for me is underwear.
I skipped sleepwear because I assumed no one on an nudist board would own any.
Also omitted shorts because no one can be nude all of the time.

I don't own swimwear but will wear exercise shorts when the situation requires wearing something to swim.

BillNov 9, 2017I also have all of the above items, we have a full wardrobe, however, the only place I wear underwear is to work, and I have gone commando there a few times. Other than that I am almost always commando. My wife will also often go commando, especially if she is wearing a dress. Yes, she was commando tonight when we went out to dinner with some friends.

SteveNov 9, 2017I have all of it except underwear. Need the long clothes for farmwork and social visits (I dislike sitting around in shorts - for some reason I feel more at ease in loose-fitting long pants). And we are 4 miles from the nearest beach, 100 miles from the nearest really nudist-friendly beach, so swimwear, too.

AlNov 9, 2017I have all the items listed, and am glad I navigate the clothed world as well as I do. But I can say that some of them last a really, really long time because they spend more time in the drawer than they would for an average person!

By the way, on other boards I have seen many men state that they own no underwear, a smaller but still substantial number no swimwear, and a few no long slacks, only shorts.
Only remember one saying that there was a time when he worked on a farm that provided room and board, and he found that all he needed to wear was shorts footwear, so he had donated all of his other clothing to charity, so at that point in his life he had owned no shirts.
There was also one man who lived in the Canary Islands who said who said that he wore pareo when he needed a casual cover-up and a kilt when he needed to be more dressed . He said that he owned no long pants an only one pair of shorts and was considering getting rid of them because he hadn't worn them in over a year!ReactReply - OL
OllyNov 9, 2017I have long pants and shirts (and jumpers). As with others I have to venture into the (textile) world. And it's chilly outside at this time of year.
I have no underwear. I might have a Speedo somewhere, left over from swimming lessons.

PaulNov 12, 2017Still got all the cloths as I need most of them for when I can't be nude such as work, too cold etc. Yes some like PJ haven't been used for many years and aren't likely to be used again. Pants are only used for when I have the suit on due to the trousers been on the tight side to be commando.

When the man who eventually moved to the Canary Islands first retired, he still lived in California. As soon as he retired he donated all the clothing he no longer needed. He was left with one pair of jeans, one pair of slacks (like you intend to be) a few shorts and shirts, plus footwear. He decided that since all of his remaining clothing would fit on 2 shelves in the laundry room, he got rid of his dresser and took out his closet to make more usable living space. Do you see that small a clothing supply in your retirement years?ReactReply

JohnSep 4, 2018I own all those items although the pyjamas boughtfor a hospital stay never got worn as the various tubes, etc. made it impossible to wear them or indeed anything for the first few days.
I own far more underwear and swimwear than I ever did before I went nudist and commando as I'm always trying to find some which are as comfortable as nothing, then keep them for the few times I might want them and they never wear out.ReactReply - MI
MitchSep 6, 2018I have all varieties of clothes because not everywhere i swim or eat or whatever, is clothing optional.
I wear a swimsuit if i am in a public pool and I wear underwear to prevent chaffing.

Cut both of my pairs of jeans into shorts today.
For the first time that I can remember, I have no long jeans.
Any time I can eliminate a class of clothing I feel a sense of liberation.

If it survives until our grandson goes home, I will not need to get one until our next vacation, February at the earliest.

I do not possess a swim suit. I havent been swimming anywhere except our pool & local nudist resort for several years. That said, Im still in the working world so clothes are necessary. I do want to pare down the clothes and that process has begun but its going to take a while. I keep asking myself, where did all this stuff come from? That closet(s) is full!

Do you expect to spend most of your time nude and get rid of most of your clothing when you do? While I am retired, I am nude less and have more clothing than some retirees on this site, because I am active in my community and our grandson spends a lot of time here. Still, I am nude far more than when I was working and wearing less when I can't be nude. I have well less than half as much clothing as I did when I was working.ReactReply

I have gotten rid of well over half of my clothing since I retired. Still need more that a lot of people on this site because I am involved in many community activities and our grandson is here much of the time.ReactReply
