Who has gone on an overnight or longer trip taking no clothing except what you were wearing?
Where did you go and how long did you stay?
What did you wear for the trip?
Shorts and shirt?
Shorts only?
Nothing?
If the latter 2, how did you handle stops along the way?

Tom DOriginal PosterJul 3, 2023Someone on another board posted that he is traveling hundreds of miles to a nudist resort with no clothes in his possession except a hat, sneakers and sandals and staying 8 weeks. His wife is bringing enough clothing to do any off resort errands, but not much more.
He would definitely be in contention for the best example of traveling light, longest time nude, most daring and furthest from his clothes!ReactReply - TD

He agreed with the understanding that he would not put clothes on again until sometime after he returned home. Still had a good run of almost a month continuously nude! Also still a good example of traveling light and daring since he drove the entire 400+ miles to the resort nude.ReactReply - TD

CalApr 25, 2026Hope this thread gets going again! I have often driven nude to various locations for the day - and once spent the night with nothing but my b-day suit! When my wife and I travel(shes not quite a nudist yet but Im working on it!) she packs a lot! I pack very little - maybe one pair of undies, socks, a tank top, shorts and a couple shirts. If going to the beach, just shorts and a tank top till I get there.

CalApr 26, 2026I can typically go 6 hours without a restroom break so no stops needed, but I always carry a towel or shorts to wear from the parking area to the beach anyway.

JimApr 26, 2026Tough debate on needing a shirt ?
Dont want to take a shirt, but yeah I think you need it for the stores to get some water. Like going out to Sycamore creek east of Phoenix Arizona. I try to take the least amount of clothes. But I start with shorts and a shirt to get into the store. But as soon as I get to the pickup I start taking clothes off. Love driving naked out to the hiking area. But once there its just a sarong and thats tucked into my belt.
But the last time hiking out there I noticed someone painted a large bolder with a notice that it was a nudist area ! Yeah ! After I came back to the truck after a beautiful day, there were cars and trucks everywhere. Plus people walking around everywhere ! Wow what a nice surprise.

CalApr 26, 2026Wow Jim - thats progress for sure! Hopefully that area will continue to be a safe place to drive to and hike nude in.
Regarding the shirt, I usually take a tank top which gives me the bare minimum to be able to go inside a store - although most stores here in Calif dont require them. I take water and tissue and thats all I really have ever needed.ReactReply - TD

CalApr 28, 2026Ha! Sounds like my wife! What about a water bottle or something portable to avoid having to stop at a store/station?

When driving to our local nudist resort (about a 5 hour drive from our home) we take only the clothes on our back (t-shirt, shorts & sandals. No need to bring anything else as we will be 100% nude for our entire stay there - usually a week or two. Then we put on the same clothes and drive home.
