Hey All
For those times that you have to wear clothes what kind do you prefer?
Personally I prefer loose fitting linnen or cotton. I absolutely detest underwear though i have to wear it at work. I find poly blend or other man made materials to be very unhealthy and restrictive.
what about you guys?

I'm usually in wool dress pants so underwear helps reduce the dry cleaning bills.  Otherwise, jeans and lose pants and hopefully commando are good.  Shorts in the summer weather.  And of course nothing at all when I can get away with it.

Depends on the place of visit. At office in formals, other places usually a T shit and a Jeans or Quarters.

Single layer of cotton, generally loose, except for sleeveless a-shirts. Usually flip-flops. Around the farm, thrift-shop old dress shirts and jeans, canvass sneakers or barefoot.

In the context of only if i must. In that case the bare minimum. Have found bamboo fabric to be one of the least imposing and as close to feeling nude as possible if not nude. Bamboo shorts are great for the situations in the garden when something is needed. As for footwear, i am at a loss to understand why anyone wears footwear at home, yet even some nudists wear footwear even if nothing else and in situations where it is not needed because of terrain issues etc.. So in the end, the answer for me is the minimum required in any particular situation. Thankfully my wife is ok with me being nude at home even if she cannot understand me being nude in winter.

Not having attained a 24/7 nudist lifestyle totally yet and as society expects us to conduct ourselves, I begrudgingly do put on only one layer of cotton pants, shirt, short, t-shirt or singlet.

When I am not naked (and not at work either), I wear T-shirts or polo shirts on top and shorts (usually short shorts) for the bottom half.  I also like the comfort of an above-the-knee skirt but MOH absolutely hates that so can't wear one at home.  :-(  (I do occasionally wear a skirt when she isn't around - either inside the house or outside shopping)
At work, it is a mans shirt and trousers (professional look) though occasionally in warm weather, I have worn golf shorts to work.

I only wear shorts, jeans or trousers that are somewhat looser in the waist and crotch so my dick/balls can hang loose and natural rather than bunched up.  I never wear underwear or any kind with anything and haven't owned any in 40 years - now almost 60.I have very heavy/large balls and having them hang loose has always been a part of my needing/wanting to be naked or only wearing loose in crotch pants.  You have to look and try on pants with a longer zipper/crotch area.  I'm lucky enough to not need to wear dress clothes at work and can wear "work trousers" such as Dickie's.  The material is thicker and though it's a polyester blend I like the way it feels on my bare butt.  Otherwise only pants and shirts - nothing fancy.  At home always completely barefoot/naked not a stitch of anything year round.  Naked Man

well short answer birthday suit 24/7  but we all know that ain't gonna happen unless you go hermit and have understanding mailman for the deliveries you would need but when i do need to wear something. I wear the minimum.   For example.  much of my yard I can do yard work and even mownude , but for the parts exposed to the road,  I wear my 'barely there' shorts.   Cotton boxers with the sides slit, and the materialbetween the legs cut away.   that leaves an elastic waist band with flaps of fabric front and back.  To anyone passing by they passas shorts but do not bind anything that i prefer to hang free.   I have even worn these when I had a sherif deputy stop by to checkon a possible break in.  When clothed in public often i have only 4 articles of clothing.    two crocs, pants and a shirt.  I go commando,  and as long asthe weather holds no socks.   I would be the first " loser" in any game of strip poker i sat down to.the pants are short unless places that require long ones like work.   But even at work,  it is only 4 articles of clothing and thoseare loose fitting.    makes stripping when i get home so much easier.
the weather turned colder so i might be adding socks soon.   wow 50% more on what will i do?

I quite enjoy a Tommy Bahama, although Cariloha is nice too. It is bamboo rayon so it is nice and smooth, lightweight and breathable.
Depends on the situation.  In the summer time, I wear as little as possible.  Gym shorts and a t-shirt.  I also ride a Harley, so jeans and a t-shirt with my leather vest.  In the winter time it's usually jeans and a heavy shirt.  I hate to have to dress up.
Seems the natural thing to do. Nude when possible. Textile as necessary.

Loose shorts and a t-shirt, comfortable tennis shoes, commando. When it turns cold, socks, and sports pants. I can't remember the last time I put on a dinner jacket.
This part kind of refers to a few of the other post's also.At my age, I've mostly given up caring what others think about me. The few hours I do work, I wear a uniform. I dress, shave and cut my hair for me. If I want to impress a lady... well if she can't take me the way I'm comfortable, she's not worth it and it will be an issue eventually anyway.

I feel most comfortable when I am totally naked. To remain close to the comfort zone when I must wear clothes - I prefer clothing items made of light and soft materials such as linen, silk or cotton ... loose fitting is better than tight ... I said my final goodbye to underwear many years ago ... sandals on my feet ... no hat ...
