I live in the country.. where nudism is still a taboo. But once i did try this, that too on bike. I went to a lonely road and on the opposite side was a highway, such that no one can reach me even if they wish to. then took off my cloths, had a long ride.... enjoying the nature and then came back. put my cloths on. and drove back to home. It heaven to be with nature and the illegal thing added fun to it...

I think there's a double standard here. Ever listen to the cb radio on the highway? If there is mention of a woman showing a bit of herself their is cars, trucks and bikes racing to find that car and check her out. If its a guy showing anything people are mentioning calling the cops or running the guy off the road and at the least calling him names like pervert, etc. Funny thing about it too is as high up in them cabs those drivers are you can almost bet they're at least bottomless.

I agree with everything you said. I drive to and from Florida once a year and I enjoy driving it naked. I take all the precautions because for me it's not about being seen by anyone. I just think everything is more enjoyable while naked.

I usually just wear a pair of running shorts around one ankle. That way I can easily pull them up if I need to or when I get where I'm going.

- DUDukeBareJun 24, 2013I am really glad that my 1st post on truenudist is regarding one of my very favorite things, driving nude. I live nude at home all the time 24/7. I have a Jeep Wrangler and a Ford SUV. I have driven nude for at least 15 yrs. I took a couple of naked trips from Upper Bucks County Pa. to a nudist resort in Murfreesboro, TN and back, about 820 mi. each way. I drove nude a few times to Aurora Ky. and back, about 895 mi each way.
Around home, I drive naked from here to Gunnison Beach at Sandy Hook, NJ. and back, about 95 mi. each way. When I do this, I have a velcro wrap around. When going through the guard booth to pay the beach fee, I just close my wrap around, or throw some shorts over my lap. The guards have never acted as though they even noticed. When I get to the parking lot, I close my velcro wrap around again and just wear it from the parking lot to the beach. Lots of people wear towels in the parking lot so it does not look out of place. When I get to the beach I shed the wrap around and enjoy the day with all of the other nude sunbathers. When I leave the beach I just put the wrap around on a gain and walk back to the Jeep where I loose the wrap around and drive home. (Note that the Jeep has a hard top. So I am not just sitting out in the open.)
Some times in the Summer I take long nude drives, windows down, in my Jeep on the country roads through the beautiful Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania or drive out through the Pocono Mountains. I pretty much make a day long trip out of these drives. I don't know why, but there just seems to be something about the Jeep that makes you want to be naked!
I have always used the trick of having tan sorts with me. You can always
say, "Officer, someone obviously saw me in these tan sorts and just assumed that I was naked". I keep my feet in the leg holes of the shorts on the floor so that they can very quickly be pulled up without a lot of fidgeting around.
With some common sense and due caution to avoid any unwanted audience, a naked drive is a very pleasurable experience!ReactReply - DA

Rural roads are definitely the least risky but even some city streets can be driven nude, especially if it's after sunset. It's a bit risky when you come up to a stoplight and another car or truck pulls up next to you. I assume you are not driving a manual shift with those shorts wrapped around your ankles. Could be very tricky and dangerous!ReactReply - MEMemberAug 15, 2013About 2 weeks ago i drove from brisbane to cairns (1700km) nude, only covering up to fuel up. was doing really good till the police pulled me over. had no real problems there, just told him i was nude before he got to the window, he had a bit of a giggle to himself took my license and went back to his car. When he come back i ask why he dident question why i was nude, he said as long as im in the car and no one can see me there was no problem. So i try and drive everywhere nude now. Living in the tropics it is much nicer to be nude as much as posable.

TimAug 18, 2013I drive nude when I can, which is getting more and more frequently since it's so much fun. LolI've recently begun to drive home from work totally nude, which is a 45 minute commute. I've done this about 4 or 5 times now and haven't had any problems yet. totaltanjimAug 25, 2013I have posted before about how I drive nude whenever I am going more than a couple of miles including my daily commute to and from work. I have been doing this for more than 30 years and for me it is just my normal way to drive.
Every week or two I have to drive from my home in the San Fernando Valley out to Ontario to pick up some hardware for our business. It has been my habit of putting on my shorts, shirt and shoes just before pulling into the parking lot unless I am early in which case I will dress after I park and wait for the warehouse to open.
This past Friday (8/23/13) I arrived about 10 minutes before their normal opening time so just pulled into the parking lot still nude. Much to my surprise not only was the warehouse door open but the person I was coming to see was sitting outside waiting for me. When he saw me pulling in he stood up and motioned for me to pull right into the loading dock area. All I could do was slip on my shorts as I drove over to him. I figured that he probably could tell I was nude so Instead of putting on my shirt and shoes I put on my Bare Burrow tee shirt and sandals before getting out of the car.
As I walked over to him he said were you driving nude?, so I answered him yes and that is the way I normally drive because it is more comfortable. He did not say much more about it and unfortunately I was in a hurry and did not have time to say more.
I hope to have more time on my next visit to talk to him more about being a nudist.
At least now I know I do not have to dress before pulling into the parking lot next time no matter what time I arrive.ReactReply - ME

We bought clothes at Goodwill one time. Set out on the interstate and 1 by 1 took off an item and threw it out the window, until we were both toally nude. Daytime mind you. Hello Truckers!!!!! Had to make a mad dash to the hotel room from the parking lot when we returned. A real adrenaline rush but don't think I would do it again.

I drove with clothes on to the store, took them off in the parking lot (in my car), and drove back nude. I did this one time, put a pair of shorts on the seat, then just wearing a bumbag (not completely nude, you might say) - I drove to Parramatta where I dropped my wife off near the Westfield. Lots of pedestrians, cars and cameras.

Imagine approaching a vehicle where you can't see what moves the people inside are making, knowing that there's at least a chance that someone in there is going for a gun. What's that possibility going to do for the cop's mood and level of vigilance? If we're going to concede at all that they have a job to do, then tinting is a real issue, because it does affect that job.
It's too bad nudity requires such privacy, where none would otherwise be required. Our farm is heavily hedged, to spare the neighbors the need to explain us to their houseguests - but I know some of the neighbors (and the helicopter patrols, for that matter) have wondered if the hedging is to hide an illegal crop.
In both cases, the "what are you hiding" question arises only because we can't concede as a society that it's OK to see someone's body in an incidental way.ReactReply
