  While I think the term busted was used innocently enough here, I totally understand where you're coming from! My pet peeve is nudists who don't want to "offend" anyone by being naked. Is a naked body offensive? You can shock people by being naked, you can make them uncomfortable by being naked, but I don't think you can offend them with something that is not offensive. (yeah, so I'm a little crazy)

  My hubby wanted me to stay nude up till late morning the next day when we were at my parents house . My Dad suddenly walked in as he gets up and gets ready quite early and was embarrased to see me totally nude while my hubby sleeping next to me. He just smiled and said okay I shall come back later, you may get ready please .

  For the last few weeks, my niece, her husband and their little boy have been coming over on Thursday mornings to swim, but my wife has always been home.  This morning, wife is at work, I forgot it was Thursday and had been doing some nude yard work, jumped in the pool for a skinny dip and cool off, and got out to do something.  I heard my dog barking and went to check it out, and turned around to see my neice walking back out of the back yard.  I went inside and threw on some shorts, and they were in the yard getting ready to swim when I returned and made greetings. As they were getting ready to leave, I had a private moment with my neice and mentioned that I hoped that she had not been shocked or offended.  She claimed not to have seen me, but I know she did since she was going back out, but then said, "that's ok, (husband)'s dad walks around their house naked all the time and I've walked in on him. It was funny, strangely comfortable, and nice to clear the air. Gator1

  I know this is an older thread but I just came across it.
  
  Many years ago, a lake on the grounds of the local university was known to be clothing optional.  My wife and I went a couple of times but had stopped going because the amount of gawkers had started increasing.  Eventually the word started spreading that the university was going to start patrolling and stopping people from swimming in the buff.  I decided to check it out one afternoon on an off day and was laying out on my blanket.  I had started drifting off to sleep and was suddenly awakened by a female campus cop.  She informed me that nudity was no longer allowed and I would have to leave.  Fortunately, she didn't arrest me but she stayed right there and watched me get dressed.  She appeared to have a slight smirk on her face, probably because of my less than impressive package.
  
  I enjoy spending time outside at night in my backyard nude when I feel confident that no one will be able to see me.  One night, the next-door neighbor unexpectedly turned into their driveway and I'm pretty sure that I was momentarily caught in the light of their headlights.  I waited to see if they would say anything to me about it but they never did.

  So I don't think I have been busted, but I have come close to being seen on several occasions.  One time, when I had a roommate, I didn't know he was going to be coming home and I was sitting in my chair with only a blanket hiding my nudity he came home with a girlfriend.  they sat and chatted for a bit then left. Another time, I was hanging out on my college campus in the sports area in the middle of the night, when a maintenance person or something was coming by I hid in the bushes until they passed.  beyond those times I have no idea if I have been seen or not.  At this point in my life I really don't care.  Wait I think I might have been seen a few years ago by some people who might have rented out the garage apartment our landlords have.  I don't know if I was seen but I do know those people didn't rent the garage...lol.

  How's this for nerve? I was trimming some trees behind a homeowner's unit at a nudist resort. The Culligan man comes to the back to replace the units. He tells me "Put some clothes on."

  Oh yeah. First time at age 6. I liked to sleep naked and would lock my bedroom door. One night my mother unlocked it and saw me. I really caught heck for that and the lock was removed. Another time After marriage, i was tanning on the back porch and nobody home. Around the corner of the house came my mother in law. I quickly covered and apologized. She too didn't take too kindly to my being nude. But did say it was my house but she would call from then on. It was never brought up again. Couple years ago I was working like always naked in the garage and the door was open. I heard a voice and looked up and it was a female census taker. Damn...I knew I should have sent that census paper in. We both apologized. I covered up, answered the questions and end of that. I suspect I have been caught a few times by my neighbors. I live in the country so they have to walk down the road from the mailbox a bit to look into my property. So serves them right for being nosey.

  I was 12 when I found that my dad had returned to sleeping nude. He did before us 10 kids came along. I'm the last of the batch. When mom began to spend the nights on the comfy couch in the den half the time there were nothing but three boys upstairs and dad. When the dog would knock open my parents' bedroom, some mornings I'd spot daddy slinging on his boxers as he got out of bed. After a year of knowing he slept nude I tried it. I had already advanced out of P-Jays to shorts. I was also in my own bedroom for a year. And the house was window cooled. It cooled better in my South-West bedroom by closing the door, opening both windows, and blowing air out of the West window. So in the late July heat I began taking my shorts off to sleep. After two weeks my mom came up to gather laundry and opened the door just after hearing me get out of bed. She expected to see me in shorts. When I told her that I'd never slept better she gave up on trying to tell me not to sleep nude.
  No, actually I think I tried it before then, when I was still paired up in the bunk-bed.
  
  Then I began to get caught slipping into the bathroom for a late night pee. It made no sense to put on shorts then go pee around them. Mind you that my brothers were playing a double standard on bathroom privacy anyway. They'd walk in for what they wanted if they knew it was "just" me. (just=diminutive) Throw open the door, let the warm bath air out in the winter. Then tell me to go to the powder room downstairs if they were in the bathroom at all. So when anyone but mom caught me I'd shrug. My door was beside the bathroom door. It wasn't like I was "running around".
  Except that when I was 15-16 the oldest brother in the upstairs (one more in the basement) started sneaking his girlfriend into his room at night. She would pretend to leave and sneak back up the stairs with him. But before I knew HOW she was getting upstairs, I only knew THAT sometimes she was in there. We were on the same side of the hall. If I left my closet open I could hear her giggle. ... So one night I'm stepping out of my room to pee at the same time she's slipping out with my brother right behind, matching steps. She stops. I turned, and saw her about to gasp. Thinking fast I stage whispered "Gotta Pee. I'm First." over the sound. If dad had heard a girl's sound there'd be yelling all night. Meanwhile I raise a finger to my lips and wink. Shes looking from my face to my simi-hard and back. My brother gets it right away and says "Fine." like I've beat him again. He gives her shoulder a squeeze and like he's walking a puppet they go downstairs. Dance trick to fool piano stairs.

  yes many timers but 2 memorable times were:Working in the garden out back when the meter reader turned up, not having anything to put on I stayed behind the kids trampoline that was on its side. We had a few words and he went on his way  and I continued on with my gardening.
  Later I was on the other side of the tramp and noticed that I could see everything behind where I had been standing as clear as anything , whereas where I "hidden" was when he came the tramp was quite opaque.Case of me not really seeing him but he could see me ... oops
  2nd time I was mowing the lawn and having finished the secluded back yard I continued on naked to do the exposed front yard.As I live out of town the traffic on our road is usually quite light and no vehicles are seen for hours. Continuing on I had almost finished when a vehicle went up the road its approach masked by the lawn mower noise.I realised he was there at the last minute and as I looked up to see the most comical expression on the drivers face that made my have a good laugh. I have also been caught by the neighbours on the odd occasion too as they creep up the road unannounced with the lack of vehicle noise generated by the dirt road surface.

  Been seen several times. Sometimes on purpose. Like when the wife and I (abit younger times) decided to buzz the firepit with 30 friends standing around after a daylong bike ride. Yep we were naked and they still talk about it.

  I was not exactly busted but close to it.
  
  I had to make another drive from home in the San Fernando Valley to one of our suppliers in Ontario. My normal routine is to drive there nude and put on my shorts, shirt and shoes just before getting there unless I am early in which case I wait until l park there.
  
  Well yesterday (8/23/13) I arrived about 5 minutes before opening so just pulled into the parking lot still nude. Much to my surprise not only were they open but the person I was coming to see was sitting outside waiting for we. As soon as he saw me pull into the parking lot he stood up and motioned for me to pull right into the loading dock area. There was nothing else I could do but slip on my shorts as I pulled the car up to the dock. I then put on my Bare Burro 5K tee shirt and sandals and got out of the car. He looked at me and said "were you driving naked" and I answered the only way I could and said yes that is the way I normally drive. He just sort of laughed and we continued on inside so I could pick up my order.
  Unfortunately I was in a hurry and did not have time to talk about being nude but since I go there on a regular bases I will try to bring it up on my next visit. Also since he now knows I drive nude I will not have to worry about getting dressed before I get there.

  End of last year, I went on vacation, which was a longer trip by car. It was night time and I was nude in my car Travelling on the Pacific Highway out of Sydney. Oops, there was police, carrying out Random breath tests. I was stopped by a young Constable who made me exhale into the tube and checked my Drivers licence There was no problem. He then asked me, why I wasn't wearing anything, I replied I was a naturist and on vacation. He just looked at me for a few moments and gave me the o.k. to exit. Oh, was I ever so glad to travel on without any longer serious hold ups.

  I recall twice being caught nude when the situation was not normal for the venue.
  The first time was near a secluded beach in Florida. It was on a key shared with a popular, beautiful textile beach. The nude portion was way beyond the clothed beach and not widely known as frequented by nudists.
  
  The two easiest ways to get to the nude portion was either walking along the beach from the clothed section or walking from the regular parking lot, parallel to the beach, on the dirt path fire access road. I usually walked the fire road since it was an easier walk than on the beach sand. Another benefit of the fire road was once you rounded a bend you were no longer visible to anyone in the parking lot, only to those further down the road. This was not a road frequented by many people; usually only those going to or coming from the hidden nude beach. Often, after rounding the bend, I would remove what little clothing I was wearing and walk naked the rest of the way.
  
  One time though, while nude, I saw a clothed couple walking towards me, after they had rounded a bend up ahead. They were not dressed like they were coming from the nude beach. They looked like tourists from the Midwest, with inappropriate clothing for the beach. I was in a quandary as what to do. They were 100 yards or so away, they looked to be about 30 years old, and they could clearly see I was naked. It seemed if I put on my shorts I would be admitting I was guilty of something. At the same time, they were walking only a short distance away from other nude people. Maybe they had already seen them.
  
  I decided to remain nude and pretend it was normal. As we passed each other, one of them made a snide comment to the other about what they had just witnessed.

Unless it's his house, he has no right to tell a 27 year old to put some clothes on. I would have told him to shut up or leave the house.

  busted by neighbour earlier lol, checking her house while she was away so went in naked from back door of my house not knowing she was back few minutes earlier shes 64 lol, shes gasped then said why are u naked i explained it all to her then she said fancy a massage to which i excepted shes now thinking off it herself xxx happy days x

  Last summer, I was visiting my father's farm. The farm is in a remote area with not much population so I was naked most of the time. One morning while I was working naked in the farm fixing the fence, out of nowhere, my father's sister and her husband arrived to visit us. Although my parents are aware I am a nudist and see me naked most of the time, my father's sister had not seen me naked since I was a kid and it was quite a shock for her and her husband who are in their late 50s to see me naked now as a grown man.

  Oh yes!Where I live,there is a  private beach that crosses a ammunition and defense company,and one Sunday ,while being in the nude I slipped onto this beach,and  found this factory...massive factory,and went scouting all over,and never got caught.One Tuesday afternoon in December,2010,I went for another naked walk down the beach,and entered the compound again...stark naked...within seconds I was apprehended by security police,but seeing I was naked posed no threat,so I was taken to their admin offices,and  questioned....then when they saw I was helpless,and non threatening,they called the police to escort me off the compound...all the time still naked,and I had hidden my clothes up the beach,a textile beach,but no one ever gets to the private beach...so the police took me to where my clothes were,but the funny part is this...their 4by4 got stuck in the sand on the beach,and naked and all,I helped them free the vehicle...I think the security police and normal cops were more  uncomfortable with me being naked than I with them.At another time,I went to our nude beach,and went for a mountain walk off the beach,not usually trodden by nudists,but I was all naked and barefoot.Half way up the mountain,I ran into three platoons of the Metro Police doing a Route march,and I had to pass right through the midst of their platoons naked.They were very amused and some expressed the desire to be naked like me as well.
