Who here only swims nude and owns no swimwear?
I do own some and suspect I always will since there are places I like to go that are not clothing optional and there are people I want to be with who are not nude tolerant.

SteveMar 4, 2019I always swim nude when I can but it is not always possible and as a result I have accumulated quite a selection of swimwear over the years for those occasions when nude swimming or sunbathing is not possible. My oldest is a white striped tanga which is well over 30 years old but still wearable. I have several Kiniki items, including some tan through ones which I agree are very comfortable and quick drying. I was interested to view your video showing the variety of garments you own. It seems we have similar tastes! Kind regards.

I don't own a regular 'bathing suit' though I do have a couple of pair of running shorts I use for non-nude swimming. Sometimes...you just can't go nude in the pool and you've got to wear something. That said...I much prefer nude swimming...nothing else is even close.

I would find running shorts too much for swimming so I have a few costumes for clothed locations - briefs for municipal pools and tangas for hotels and beaches.ReactReply - XA
XanderMar 6, 2019I'd L-O-V-E to go nude swimming once! Must be very freeing! I own swimwear, but sometimes, when I am out swimming, I just want to tear it off my body and dive into the pool in my birthday suit.

dennisMar 7, 2019I currently look for holes that have swimming holes or hot springs at the end/turn around point. Nude hike, then nude swim and running, then a nude hike back. Very good days.

JApr 24, 2019I own swimsuits because cant safely swim nude all the time. I do swim nude every chance I can. I do aqua aerobics every morning to work out in warm season at home. When i travel i am clothed in hotel pool unless i am only one there and no cameras, if the case shorts are off and on the edge to put on in the water if someone does come in.

I'm just talkin bout current stupid rules, wearing as little as possible while trying to live with them without being arrested for indecent exposure. I entered the world in 1965 as nude swimming was fading out, and knew nothing of it till I became naturist oriented (could say garden of Eden oriented) and read the history of it. Someone older could probably get by with the same excuse, since few in modern society remain aware of the nude swimming, but most of the upper age bracket will remember when briefs were the norm. I have one each of solar tan through and cool tan. the 2 main brands. in 2-3" inseam shorts. the cool tan is less open mesh than the solar brand, higher shade rating, I wore the solar in general field work until it's kind of wore out and more open mesh that it was new. I can see my skin right through it easily, but due to the color of it, a sort of mottled tan/brown, a causal look reveals nothing and it's still good for public use occasionally. The eye sees the fabric and does not discern that half the view is actually skin underneath it. I got the cool tan one and then didn't use it much. Save it for use on rare occasion around the extreme fanatic textile obsessed so as to not get up their ire for being improperly exposed. I only use the shorts or fabric around where people are anyway, rip em all off when out working or swimming/dipping in isolated place. My eventual plan is to make a good swimming pool of my own with dark cover to prevent algae, it can double as irrigation water storage. It will have water transfer on occasion, drained and refilled from the springs. and limited use to just myself and a few friends. Neighbors were having their roof replaced today so I saved my nude swimming until late afternoon when the roofers left.

When it is the off season here I will go down into an area where there is really no one and go in the Gulf Naked. or at least without my top. I will take my top and tuck it in my bottoms. As I don't need to get fined or in big trouble.
A couple of weeks ago I was at a friends house who owns a private pond and he said wanna go swimming? It was hot out I was like sure I haven't swam in a pond in a long time. I did ask if he had any alligators he said non that he has seen in the 15 years. Then I said I guess I could go in my bra and panties and I don't have the beach bag in the car. He said why bother????? just strip down. I looked at him and said ok.....and stripped there on the dock. His eyes got wide and he shrugged and stripped as well. Mr. EOct 12, 2019I got invited for a swim party at a friends house about a year ago and realized that I no longer had any swim trunks. I had to buy them and...even worse...wear them. Such barbarity. :)
