Jul 11, 2012This event in Hopkins, SC starting @ 2pm on July 21st will be a pool party with
a luau potluck dinner to include barbecue, grilled shrimp and whatever attendees
bring to compliment the meal such as a whole pineapple cut up (I can help with
that) or any dessert/sides. Please let me know no later than Wednesday, 7/19 so
we can arrange a full meal.
On the property is a pool, hot tub,
volleyball (land and water). The guest house is available now for overnight
guests with reservations. There is no charge for overnight, but donations are
appreciated since there is air conditioning and a refrigerator in the building.

The weather, as is usual for SC in July was iffy, but we had nothing but sun and a VERY little liquid sunshine. Pool was so very refreshing. Some tossed around the water volleyball a bit.
There were more than enough snacks to share. Our first course for dinner was grilled shrimp with peppers, onions, and pineapple. Then came the barbecue (pork here in SC), macaroni & cheese, sliced homegrown tomatoes, garlic rolls with parmesean cheese melted, and finally, brownies, and ice cream.
Friends visited from as far away as Cleveland, GA as well as all around the Midlands of SC. The guest house proved to be very welcoming once more.
Travelites’ next event will be on Aug 11th - Toga Party, togas are optional.
Below is the update of the bids for the annual auction that benefits NAC, AANR Ed. Foundation, American Nudist Research Library, and Sistercare, a charity for abused women and their children.
