July 4 was a great time to swim, relax, chat, enjoy the hot tub. A variety of snacks were available. Thank you to a returning local member who helped get rid of some dead limbs and for getting our riding mower to start with just a touch of his hand. Allen grilled perfect burgers/cheeseburgers that had the range of condiments and accompaniments anyone could have wanted.
~
The Bordeaux cherry ice cream was fantastic especially with the Hershey's. There were some light rain showers occasionally, but they didn't dampen the camaraderie. Members of other clubs are always welcome as long as they give us a couple days notice to verify. Our members expect the security this gives them.
~
July 6 Saturday - It was a day of bright sun and light showers.  Some swam, some vegged out and socialized. Snacks included dips/cracker/chips/baby carrots, etc. and potluck supper included fried Swai, homemade coleslaw, another coleslaw, steamed corn, and for dessert, there was cherry chocolate ice cream as well as vanilla & chocolate ice cream plus mini chocolate cream pies and homemade peach cobbler.  There were singles and couple there from not only the Midlands of SC, but also from Charlotte and Fayette, NC.
~
We ended up eating waffles and bacon and orange  juice for breakfast and French Vanilla flavored coffee.
~
The pool is available any day you want to swim or just float. Overnight air conditioned accommodations are available. Please RSVP asap.
~
Daily grounds fee is $5 for Travelites members or TNS & AANR members through a club and $10 for non-members. If you plan on arriving on Friday for any part of the day/evening, please let me know. Lots of tenting space is available. We have some room left in the guest house.
