  Similar recommendations have been made many times by many different people but then the owners wouldn't be able to claim the large number of members.

  In that case, the website should be equipd tomove all profiles which have not been visited by the holder for one full yearto an independent area like'dormant profiles'or'sleeping profiles'.Whenever thereafter if the member visits his or her profile in the dormant / sleeping profile, the profile should automatically be moved to the main profile area. This will help the real and genuine users to browse throughonly active members.The total number of members need not be changed by the dormant/ sleeping profiles.

  Someone needs to be careful of what they are deleting. I just logged back in after being gone only about two days and about 1,000 posts of mine have been deleted.

  When a thread is deleted any one posting looses their 'count'

  Hi Rene, Yes I figured that is probably what happened and we know which one it was. I imagine you lost some as well. It was just a shock to see so many gone in one swoop.

  [/quote]This is one of the suggestions which keep coming up over the years. I suggested it in a forum post within the last month. It is tiring to try and see if if any member who were around when you first joined are still active here, to trawl through the profiles from way back and you have to actually open a profile to find when the last date of activity is for that profile. A number of members are openly questioning if the owner is playing a numbers game and if it has anything to do with rankings on Google search?? I would suggest like a lot of other websites; that we receive an Email if we have not logged in within the previous 12 months. that way we either log in to re-activate our profile, or lose it. To be brutally honest, it is not the size of membership which should count, but the quality of the people participating!! Even starting Ts, One does feel the owner does not have a clue to the direction he wishes "his personally owned website" should take.
