I've never been banned from the Chatroom before today. I usually just log in to chat with friends through PM and don't often engage in the general chat. However today I was discussing bugs I had experienced with the new system, and a mod concurred that they experienced the same thing. I went on to lament that TN hadn't added any improvements and the new version seemed worse.
Right after that, the mod who had just agreed with me about the bug banned me for expressing my criticism. I wasn't aware that constructive criticism of the site and its functionality was a violation of the rules, but I suspect the mod in question overstepped their authority for whatever reason. It just rubbed me the wrong way. If we can't voice our opinions about bugs and issues with the site, how will they get fixed?

I was hoping that others would agree about the functionality problems and hopefully pressure the site owners to change and add features instead of taking things away and making the experience worse. Its 2021 and this site's chatroom has only one massive room where everyone shouts across at each other. Why on earth can't we have chatrooms divided by subject? Or certified users only? Older websites like hangoutnude.com had that stuff years ago, but the site owners seem to be totally happy with the crappy experience and tons of fake / bot accounts spamming the chat, while the site periodically begs us to pay to upgrade to a premium account. Why would I pay money for such a crappy experience?ReactReply

JohnMay 1, 2021I am fairly new. I like both websites, TN and TS, but I am wondering if there is any effort being made to fix some of the very simple things - like not being able to delete messages. It shouldn't be that hard.
In another thread I saw one member attacking others for complaining because they weren't paid or certified. He had been a member for decades. (Maybe that's the problem.) - I am a fully paid member. I am certified. I followed all of the rules and requirements. Yes, the owners of the site have the right to admit or deny anyone they choose. They also have the right to assign mods who abuse their authority. However, as paying customer, we do have the right to ask questions. If that gets me banned, or denied access, then I would expect a refund because they are running a scam.
This site has existed for a long time. There are many members that have been here for well over a decade. Technology has significantly changed over that time. It is not wrong to ask for simple repairs and upkeep.
With that in mind, I am asking for the ability to actually delete messages. It really should not be that hard. I think a simple fix like that would go a long way in showing good will to those patrons who are concerned about the apparent lack of care about the platform.ReactReply - G
