Dec 19, 2023if you get directed to the beta site, lots of things seem to be fu-barred. I do not show as certified, not even sure I'm really logged in properly. Lots of links are broken or mis-direct to the wrong place. Remove the "beta." in front of the url to go to the normal site.

SteveDec 20, 2023For sure, not everything's hooked up yet. I note that the hamhanded word-suppression thing has not been done in the beta. Separate albums of photos might be a nice feature - I see there's a setup for them in profile / media. "Beta" does mean work in progress,,,

"Beta" does mean work in progress,,,[/quote] But it shouldn't break well-established things that weren't having issues. It's clear there is no in-house testing before going live. At least they do give us the option of falling back to the older version. I remember one site I was an end-user for (Military, and very critical). When they released a new version, no one outside of their building could access it. Their immediate line was "We tested it thoroughly, and we can access it fine". When I asked them if they tested it from outside their firewall and with a non-admin account, they went silent. If your designing any kind of remote access system, you have to test it remotely and without any privileges' beyond what your users will have. The non-access to media is a similar problem they had before. They didn't give us mere peons read access. John aka cobeachbumReactReply

Beta site issues appear to persist in the new live prod version. I'm seeing issues managing groups esp for new members and member deletions and rejections.
