Certified Males vs. Certified Couples

Why is it that there are certified TN males here that say they are
married, say that their wife is nudist too, in their profile, but aren't
certified as a COUPLE?
Is it that they:
A) made a mistake filling out their profile and don't have a way to change it later?
B) female half really doesn't want to be part of this?
C) are doing this and posting pics without their wive's knowledge.
The  reason we ask is that we get many friends requests from people who
are listed as Male, but claim to be couples.  We enjoy meeting other
couples primarily and will be friends with those single males who write
a message in our email letting us know their interest.  Please
enlighten us as to why these 'single males' don't couplize themselves
as members.
It only makes us wonder and suspucious.

I think you have every right to be suspicious.  I am because I have been intruded upon by fakers, here and on other sites.
However, I am one of those people that is certified as a male but "claim" to be a couple.  The biggest problem I had was in the certification process.  My wife enjoys being nude with others but is somewhat reluctant to just having her picture nude spread all over the internet.  It could be harmful to her professional standing.  My being nude would have no impact since her compatriots don't know me.
So, in my opinion, I think it is right to be cautious.  But, just like in so many other things, don't brand everyone with the same iron.  There may be a reason for their actions.

Interesting.  Well, from my perspective.  I didn't even mention it to the wife.  the site was new and we were unsure as to how things would go, so like in other things, Dad and I certified immediately.  Now, it's too late, unless we want to start all over.  The best part is that now, we have invited a bunch of friends that we know in real life on here and if I create a new login I'll have to re-create everything from scratch.  Or, at least that is my understanding.  Is there a way for us to be "couple-ized"?? Jackie doesn't computer much either, so it's still gonna be mostly just me on here... *sigh*

In any case, I am skepticle of most of the people out there.  For us, we live full time on a resort, so it's like, why don't you want to come out and hit the hot tub with us, etc.  I make it a point to try to actually meet with people.  Alas, it takes time and even though I am working only a part time job at this moment, it still makes it tough at times.

Well, drop us a line sometime, and if anyone knows if we can be converted please let us know.  Sorry about the rather random post, it's 1:30am and I just got up to get a glass of water and got caught up in this....going back to bed.....

There is a way to change your status as male, female, or couple if NOT certified: Click on 'my account', Edit: profile, click on basic info, change basic info.

If you are already certified, you will see the word certified, and are directed to contact Truenudists to make the change to couple and to recertify...

Yeah, I went poking around to see what I could change and when I clicked on the Certified, I got a little pop up.  I'll have to send a message off at some point.  Though the worst part is having to put clothes on for one of the pictures.....:)

I know how nudists can be embarrassed when caught with their 'clothes on', just make the sign a little bigger to cover up your 'shame'....LOL

How come so many people keep on about males on here when there are probably as many females that have couple or married but no sign of a male on there profile. My wife would rather die than have her photo posted anywhere on the web. When I'm in chat, shes often in the room but is very careful not to be seen on cam. Come on now, leave us poor males alone.

Well, I try to set a standard.  Having been in the lifestyle for a long time, I have seen a lot of reasons why couples and single females are hesitant to the army of single men.  Not to mention the fact that being on a beach where there are a limited number of single men, a social environment, and the support of friends, is significantly different that being on a computer and having a deluge of friend requests.  When people meet in person, they can see who you are, they can feel your pheramones, see your actions, hear you - you wuld be amazed at how much that makes a difference.  The number one reason that business have not accepted video conferencing as a mainstay is the you loose the nuances.

Ok, that aside.  There are a lot of guys out there that all they are interested in is sex.  That is why most nudist sites "sell nudist videos".  Etc.  They are selling the sex and the guys are looking for it.  Add to that the fact that there really is no "buffer" here and I fully understand why they are discriminating.  In a resort, you have the expectation that the resort itself will due the minimum of vetting the people there.  Either by physical inspection when they enter the office, or by observation, or by the members and their observation.  In a virtual situation though, it is much harder.

So, sorry guys, I understand the "single male" disease, and I don't condone it, but what is the answer?

In the mean time, I'm going to try to convert to a couple, just to bypass the whole situation.  Course the conversion seems to be on hold from the "share bar" and "technical difficulties", but hey, I got the pictures up and sent the request a week ago.

    Thanks
    Jerry

No mne, Jerry didn't mean that being a single man was a disease it's kind of a common term in nudist circles that means that single men are generally treated as if they where a disease. Something to be avoided at all costs. It's basically the one discrimination that seems to be tolerated in the nudist lifestyle that is oh so tolerant of nearly everything else.
