  There was an update a few days ago which has made the site a lot slower and I do get timed out when trying to load different sections of the web site.

  Hopefully, the issue is that security is being applied to plug some of the massive issues that this site has in that area. I doubt it though. I suspect after the "upgrade", a full system backup is being done. Depending on how robust the system is otherwise, that could eat up a lot CPU time, and if the backup is going to an offsite server somewhere, a lot of bandwidth.

  I've noticed too that it's gotten super slow again these past several days. Sometimes I just logout rather than keep watching that little circle going around and round and still no connection. Time for some maintenance before some of us logout permanently.

  Thanks . So good the warmth of Summer has returned to West Michigan , and the Lake Michigan shoreline has warmed up to be a wonderful place to be naked .

  It's been hit and miss for me. Often, if a page gets "stuck", I can refresh it and it loads fairly quickly then.

  I haven't noticed any significant slowing down of page loading recently here in the UK, I come here more than once most days, to check on admin tasks. I have noticed that there is a very significant slowing down in the active participation in groups and forums on TN, there is less new stuff on my feed it seems every week since the winter 'upgrade'. Can't say that is a surprise though, many users predicted this longer term outcome, it's a shame they weren't listened to. This site had its issues before but the more recent self-inflicted ones seem to be strangling it slowly.

  Apologies, I'm aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. I was able to fix some issues this morning and speed it up some, and I'm working to get it back to normal.

Just so you know I've have no issuses on my end here but I have very strong wifi. I'm in this site on my cellphone way outin my backyard and have no issues. And thanks for the great site. Been here 4 years now and still enjoying it. Cheers

  I'm glad you are working on it TT1. I'm finding it varying between slow and extremely slow. sometimes I just give up and find another website.
