  In the midst of a what I believe is a Con right now. Just waiting for the hook. As in most sites and just about all social media, you just have to read everything and believe nothing until you have proof.

  Try to be more discerning about who you communicate, focusing on profiles that 1) are more than two months old 2) are filled out with details and pictures 3) are certified 4) have participated in forums or 5) a combination of the above.
  Most women aren't women.
  Face it: third party porn sites use this site for spam and the filters to prevent them aren't built in. Just delete and flag any likes and FR's that aren't legit. Good luck.

Because sooner or later if you don't one will find her mark. Is she unrealistically pretty and young? Dude none of these profiles are interested in you me or anyone else for anything but money. Do you meet lots of women regularly in life? Any time your luck online is really pushing the envelope (I don't meet anyone here) it's probably not actually happening in the way you hope. I'll be fully blunt I'd be shocked if any single men "met women" on this site because none of the actual women here are here for that (a few are obviously). It's not a pick up classic the old TN. You might try TS for that purpose. But... the new Craigslist style listings are your best bet. There's a whack load.

  Those profiles are very easy to spot not sure why anyone would fall for it.

  I see lots that see this as a dating site or an alternative app to just meet people. My understanding is that it is a site for nudists/naturists whatever we want to call ourselves to meet and chat about mutual interests. For me, thats absolutely as far as it goes and anyone who I want on my connections list. There was someone who started asking for money but was swiftly exited stage left and several who have obviously been fakes. All that glitters isnt always gold so beware. There are steps that can be taken, Certifications, keeping photos to Cert Friends and filtering friends......

  A couple of years ago, I befriended a young Russian guy (a florist, maybe you've also had contact) on TN. I had no intentions other than friendship. We messaged for quite a while, often with very long narratives about his work, childhood, interests etc. A warning flag popped into my head, but I wasn't overly concerned.
  Then came the request for money to help pay for his ticket to Australia. Strange, as the borders had all been closed due to covid. When I politely explained I couldn't send him money, all was OK for a while. Then a request for money for a new phone as he couldn't keep using his boss's computer to contact me.
  That was it for me.
  He was extremely clever in his hook-in strategies.
  TN can never block all these scammers, but hopefully they respond when we flag them, to protect others.
  Just be on guard. Friends don't ask for money, especially from those they've just met online.

  Oh my, that's pretty funny!

  My sis got hit up by a guy "traveling in Poland" for (get this) $2 MILLION for "legal fees to settle his father's estate"!! Any freakin' idiot should know that average Americans don't have a mil or two to throw around. Stupid and insanely greedy, wow.

  Think of this site as a sort of outdoor garden or lawn. There will be weeds you'll have to pull up from time to time, and that process will never stop. It's a part of the experience.

  It would be nice if the site were a sort of greenhouse where you'll never have to deal with that problem, but it is what it is, part of the outdoors of social media.
