Do you pay to use this site?

I'm curious how many people that use this site pay to use it?
I paid each year and then paid for a lifetime membership.
The site seems to worsen almost daily because of all the scammers and fake profiles.
The owners don't seem to care that the site gets worse constantly. If you are a paying member will you continue?
If you don't pay what needs to be done for you to consider being a paying member?

I'm a lifetime paid member and notice also that the site is not improving, rather the opposite. Lots of fake profiles, and functions that worked before, like camchat in PM, but doen't work anymore.

I, too, am a paid lifetime member and although this site is not perfect by any stretch, is more than adequate. I would really like for the scammers and fakes to disappear but since they are so prevalent in society, there is not much hope of rooting them out of here. As for paying, everything & I mean everything has a cost. If youre on the site, someone produced the electricity, made your abode, built your chair, put together the internet and sent a signal for you to use. All those things cost real dollars (US) to provide but using this site, which also has costs associated, is not worth you reimbursing the owners? Why do you continue to free-load if the site is so poor? The Harley riders of the 70s often had a sticker on their bikes that read, *Gas, grass or ass, nobody rides for free*; I totally agree with this sentiment. Too bad that sentiment is not more widespread.

I too am a paid lifetime member since 2009 and agree a site needs to make money to sustain itself. When I joined the site infrastructure was three years old and the site was strong and growing. None of the money earned then was used to update the site infrastructure, only operate it. No further improvements have been made since 2006. Imagine using your phone since 2006 and you get the idea: the owners let the site go. Consider the crazy monitors and their hands-off control of spam and their God-like punishment in the chatroom and the result is that people are leaving in droves. Try nonshy.com instead.

I'm a lifetime paid member. I figure if I use it, and it doesn't have ad revenue, then I should support it. (I'm an occasional donor to Wikipedia and other such sites, for the same reason.) Granted, the site becomes less and less active with time, older, more male. I suspect the whole model - profiles, static, words-and-pictures posts - is on its way out (even Facebook is fading) - yielding to shorter-form and more addictive online venues. I see the same movement on other sites I belong to - the forums are less and less active, more and more just talking about the site rather than talking with each other.

Nudist chat is probably - and always has been - kinda hopeless. Either it has to be patrolled fiercely for explicit sexual expression, or (and this has happened on other sites I belong to, including the one mentioned above) it quickly becomes nothing but that.

I did the lifetime payment many years ago. It is what it is.

There are still some good things here, but security isn't one of them.
I don't use the chat feature as it's just the same clique and if you're not part of the click, sneeze and you get booted.

The claimed 550,000 accounts is really around 350,000, of which 300,000 are inactive for over a year. Probably signed on once, never came back. Of the 50,000 remaining that have signed on in the last year, you can bet 35,000 will never sign on a second time. My best guess is there are ~15,000 truly active accounts. Most that claim to be female aren't.
Then there's the problem that CplMoe71 in the chatrooms is constantly banning anyone that he wants to. I just got banned for the 4th/5th time after returning to chatrooms to give it another go, as I've been using another site where you don't get banned and the owner is also the admin who has rules in place there as well. Break the rules, get banned, sure. But when you have a private conversation with someone 1:1, and you get banned for no reason, well that I take issue with and will stand by my statement DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SITE EVER!!!!
I gave up on the chat room long ago. There is no real discussion going on, and as you have learned, if you're not part of the clique you can literally get banned for just signing in, because, you know, you don't belong here.
I was doing the same, and then decided to pay lifetime membership. First of all it's not lifetime - it's a 10 year membership - so fraudulent advertising to begin with.
I questioned TT2 when this change occurred. I was assured the date was just a place holder and my "Lifetime" was lifetime. I suspect this is the date they plan on trying to sell the site and retire from it. We'll see when 2030 rolls around. It's not that far off anymore. John aka cobeachbum

Yep, it's a simple way of discriminating without saying you're doing that.

I've started writing reviews and calling him out in them as well. Reviews going up all over Trust Pilot, and many other review sites. They're either going to do something about him, or they're going to have to deal with my reviews for months to come.

I think any Non-paid or paying profile not accessed in over two years should get deleted. This site needs cleaning up for sure. A one time up front $10 fee to join would help stop a lot of the scammers. There are things the owners could do to help clean up this site. I would gladly volunteer to help clean up this site.

I'm not a lifetime member but I did pay for the year and have enjoyed it so far. I believe in paying for a service I receive. If this site doesn't work out, I can easily leave.

I pay twice to use this site. I recently realized they have been charging me a yearly fee plus a quarterly fee for several years for my one account. There has been no response to the first billing issue ticket I created over a month ago (still says unread). I have left a voice mail with the phone number shown on the site with, once again, no response. Apparently there is little to no management of this site other than the overlords who will kick people out of the chat room for no good reason or not approve profile postings because they don't match that particular overlord's preferences.

The advice from the message above is correct just dont expect anything close to a quick response. Sometimes it takes weeks as I suspect their *In* box is quite full. Good luck.

I wonder if there is a general interest in cleaning it up.
I don't see any real evidence of the owners trying to make the site better. I see a few bots get deleted every once in a while but EVERY NON-paying profile NOT accessed in over 2 years should bedeleted from the site. There are maybe just a couple thousand active members and I would bet the number isn't that high. Of the five CO resorts I have been to I always ask people if they get on this site and they usually say no because they think the site is filled with pervs, scammers, and fakes so they don't trust this site. I would love to help clean up the site but don't see any interest in letting anyone help.

When I originally join I held back from paying because I saw issues that made question the value. I figured I would start paying if improvements were made. Surely such things would get worked out. Well 8 years later, I'm still waiting and the problems have grown. I would be different if I was sure the money I paid would result in a better site. In the mean time, l'm a freeloader, but feel free to leave at anytime. The thing that keeps me here is some of the people I've connected with over the years. One improve I do appreciate was recently made to the My Groups page. It used to be that hitting the back arrow after viewing a group would take me back to page 1. Now, it returns me to where I was. Simple fix. I only took forever to get that bug repaired.
