Is there an inappropriate pictures committee?

I was wondering if site admins actively looked for inappropriate pictures or relied solely on user feedback. One doesn't need to go far to find pictures that violate the posted rules. I have seen many that are profile pictures, some are even group admins.  I don't want to run around the site being the beat cop if that isn't called for but someone is checking, no?
