Links in forum

I've been unable to use the link tool in the forums recently. Here's an attempt to put up a link to the New York Times:http://www.nytimes.com/

It appears nicely underlined once I paste the link in the editor, but (and I'll delete / edit this post if I'm proven wrong) when I save it and then revisit it in the forum, there's no live link, and the underlining has disappeared.

I'm on Firefox / Windows 10 on a PC. I just noticed someone else had posted a link which likewise isn't live.
