missed emails?

  Also, I think that when a person cleans out their mailbox, mail they have sent disappears from the recipients inbox.

Anyone else?   Fortunately, since TT added the sender and subject line to the notifications, you -do- now have a chance to mail the sender and ask for a repeat. As Lin says, if the senders profile is still there, one explanation could be, that when you clean out your sent folder, it also deletes it from the recipient's inbox, so don't be too tidy, to quick!
