Notification of a new friend added

If at all possible, it would be nice if the site would indicate when a new friend request has been accepted.  Maybe a page that listed who you've requested friendship from and if it is pending or accepted.

    It's been awhile, but I thought it showed up in your Updates. Don't quote me on that, because I don't accept many friend requests, and I've only sent 2. The last was over a month ago, so I don't really remember.

    Yes, I think you are correct, however it posts all of the updates for the whole site.  So one has to search back in time to see if anyone has accepted your request.  Other sites I have been to gave a link where you could see requests sent, requests accepted or denied.  This would be so helpful so you could monitor your friends list requests.

    Really? Mine just shows me when people on my friends list friend another person, and shows when groups I belong to have new posts.

    [/quote]The fact that you have over 400 people on your friends list may have something to do with that. You're seeing the updates for them.

    Ha Ha Ha,  Ya think??   I guess it's time I purge my friends list.  I know what you mean about ....they ask,,you accept,,and you never hear from them again.  I just hate to take the time to sit and clean it up....but I sure need to.  Maybe then it'd help with the friend request issue.

    Yup. But that's why I don't accept many friend requests. When I first got on here, I did. Then one day I realized I hadn't corresponded with 99% of them, and I started deleting. Now, I've very selective. :)

    That's been my project today.  Man it's a pain in the butt to delete too..LOL  especially when you get on pages back, it kicks you back to the first page. ha ha ha....anyway..thanks for the chat about it and the help.
