Page counts and changing pages

This site is full of examples where the number of pages is inaccurate, where you can't go to page 1 from 2, and where you try to go to the last page and it goes off the end.  The most annoying is when viewing a thread, and trying to get to the most recent item.  Could you start a project please, to eradicate these bugs?

    i have noticed this too.   A post shows 4 pages of post and you click on 4 and it shows a blank page.  how can a computer not know if there is something on a page or not?
