  If I remember correctly, PayPal refuses to do business with websites or companies involved with nudism. That's how it was a few years ago, and probably still is.

  There's a bit more to it than that. PayPal ban "certain sexually oriented materials or services", whether or not a business falls under that depends on its exact offering. For example BN have no problems with their shop which mostly sells event tickets, books and branded items (bags, towels, etc.). While here the main benefit of upgrading is photo access, which is a bit too close to pornography.
