Photos not showing correctly in portrait.

  Apologies if you know this already. A lot of cameras are clever enough to auto rotate a picture on display so that it appears the right way up up when you view it (i.e. - even though you took it by turning the camera sideways) . Beyond that, a lot of photo viewers will also do the same. I'm not entirely sure on this, free feel to chip in people, but I think this kind of information is saved with the file in what's known as the EXIF data. Before uploading your photo you may need to edit it with whatever software you use and look to see if there's a way you can turn off saving the EXIF data. It's normally an option burried in the file -> save as ->enter filename .... dialogue of windows photo editing software. If you find such an option and save the file, be sure to save it with a different name for upload. EXIF data also holds useful info like last modified, date taken, camera model, If you save with the same name that information could be lost - forever.

  I agree it is the auto rotate issue.  Download the picture to your PC.  Open it with Windows explorer or your pho editing software.  It may look sideways.  Rotate correctly and save.  Good to go.
