Oct 30, 2011It would be good if you could see someones photos when they request you as a friend or you have to accept them to see the pics if they have their pics set at friends only!

SteveOct 30, 2011I might be willing to assume they're just shy, if the "info" tab were open and interesting. But it never is. And if it's minimal or private, then I'll certainly deny. I don't want to play "I'll-show-you-mine-if-you'll-show-me-yours." To me, the most interesting people on the site are more about words than about pictures, and living lives that are whole enough that they don't have to hide from anybody.ReactReply - DE
DesertRatOct 30, 2011I agree! We do not accept friends requests from people who have a private profile and who have not seen fit to write something about themselves to us. We understand the need some people have for privacy but complete secrecy is another matter. If you need that much secrecy, what are you doing here? We don't feel that photos are really necessary, but honesty is.

catbirdNov 3, 2011An option you have is to set your photos to "certified only." In this way, not just anybody can your photos, but people who are considering you as a friend can see the photos.
