Preview, and or edit functions are a must in forum posts, or at least the ability to cancel our post and re write it.Replies

Being someone who constantly has stubby fingers when he types and then hits enter too quickly, I would love to be able to edit my posts. However, I think there should be a time limit to do so and I do not think we should be able to delete them after we post them. From my experience in moderating message boards and visiting message forums over the years, it creates too much chaos if posters have the ability to edit willy nilly and even delete their posts after awhile. You can have topics that turn into arguments and the like, then someone decides to delete or change their comments and then the whole thread get's out of whack. So, if we have say a 20 minute time frame after hitting submit to edit our posts for any spelling or any other kind of errors, that should give people ample time to catch mistakes and at the same time not bringing any message forums into chaos.
Anyways, just an idea, as I would love to be able to fix most of my posts after I enter them. lolReactReply
