If there can be a certified-only forum category, there certainly can be a women-only forum category - for which there is evident demand, given the number of times women have complained about men taking over threads in that forum, which is in fact unrestricted. Not that the men are clamoring for it, but of course for symmetry it would be appropriate to have a similarly restricted forum category for the other available gender choices. A couples profile should probably have access to each category to which one of the couple belongs.

JohnMay 31, 2021That would certainly seem to be do-able, if the maintainers of the web site choose to implement it. There are already filters for certified and non-certified, and for members and non-members, so the technology is there.
Or perhaps, if somebody has the smarts and the willingness to establish a future site for naturists (and I'm definitely not in the former category), such a facility would greatly improve the site's functionality.

PaulJun 17, 2021There are many groups for woman only where you have to apply to join but, they are a joke as when you look at the members most of them are fake profiles so most likely men. This will also most likely apply if any forums could be set to private.

SteveJun 17, 2021I think the only real way to do it is create a group, only allow females and keep an eagle eye out for imposters. It may come down to content of the messages before the person is truly revealed. A moderator would have to be committed.

Guzzi27Jun 17, 2021This should be comparatively easy to do, and if the organisers if the website wanted it to be a genuine women only group they would have done it from day one. I can only imagine they liked the idea of men joining in women only discussions and vice versa. I would suggest in their current form those forum titles are meaningless.
We are declare what sex we are when we join, and if certified cross a relatively low hurdle to prove it. So a flag when accessing a section to prove you have been certified of that sex is a pretty simple way forward. The other thing that needs changing to make this work is that a Ladies Room thread appears under the newest activity in forums so everyone can read it and reply to it. It just caught me out when I replied to a comment that I saw under newest only to notice afterwards that it was a Ladies Room thread. Again a comparatively easy fix if TT were interested in doing anything about it.ReactReply
