Been floating around the site for a few days now and have come across several annoying bugs and significant missing features.
Bugs:
When clicking the ">>" link on a thread to go to the last page, it will often take you to the page beyond the last page. Say 10 is the last, the ">>" link will take you to page 11, which is empty.
Sometimes, where posts show "X hours ago" or "x minutes ago", it'll just say "ago". This should have an exact time of the post as well.
On the main forum page, the "Last post" column shows the name of the person who started the thread, not who the last post was by.
When you are already logged in, and on the "Home" page, it still shows you a "Signup for True Nudists" form.
Friend requests currently do not appear to have any form of sorting order. It should sort by when the request was sent.
Html characters arent escaped when they get posted (chars < > like dont show up)
Features:
When finished replying to a thread, it takes you back to the top of the
very first page. It should take you to the post you just wrote.
Allow non-friends to leave comments on other's profiles, or make the option configurable.
The site currently stars thread which have been updated, but a 'view all recent threads' link would be helpful. something that would list all thread in all the boards which have been updated since your last visit (similar to the "recent forum activity section on the main page"). And then when you click the thread, it should take you to the first unread post.
Clicking on the thread name in the "Last post" column should take you to the last post, not the beginning of the thread (or have a small "last post" link next to the thread name).
When replying to a thread, it would be nice to see a brief text-only view of the last several posts on the compose-reply screen. Often when writing a reply, its useful to see what people have said so you can comment on it without having to open a new window to go back to the thread.
When replying to a thread, it show show a link to the thread you are replying to in case you wish to easily go back, or open it in another window.
A "last page" link when viewing the threads index would make it easier instead of having to go to the first page, scroll to the bottom, click the ">>" link (and then maybe have to fix the bug where it took you beyond the last page).
A preview post button would be useful since posts dont end up looking like they do when composing them.
I know thats a large list, but its stuff thats just annoying to work around, and things that all other message boards already have.
Still, the forum is appreciated, even if it does need work :-)

PhilfreeeukAug 1, 2010Hi Stormbound, and welcome to the site :) Most, if not all of this stuff, has been said before at some time or other, and most of us have just given up complaining, and are resolved to work around it. It would appear that TT (Teamtrue1) wrote the software himself, hence why it differs from a lot of "off the shelf" sites. We kind of love and hate it at the same time, it's a pain getting to know it ( but it's a lot easier now that some of us have made a list ofFAQ's) when we started there was nothing and we had to fumble around and learn by trial and error. It would seem that TT started this in his spare time, and due to other commitments, has not been able to work on upgrading as much as he would like. Many of us have offered to help, but he seems reluctant to hand over any control, even for moderation. At the end of the day, it is what it is. It's different, there is a good community here, many newbies say it's the best site on the net, the self policing gets frustrating (TT is not strict enough for my liking) but it works, you will get used to it, and you WILL end up liking it. :) Phil.

Ya, I could tell the site was hand written.
I went through a few pages of the "Website Upgrades and Opinions" and didnt see anything that looked appropriate. I guess thats another thing, the ability to search :-POh well, we'll see how it goes. I was just thinking I'd offer an opinion, but apparently such things have already been done. :-P

(You probably knew this) there is a way round it, this tip was originally fromNudeInMA.It's on the forums in a few places, but I couldn't find it! .... How long has this site been around? Just curious. From some of the oldests posts, looks like ~2 years
