I have just been in the room where someone was booted. Given I was chatting with them at the time and was watching their cam in the main room I have no idea why this happened. I asked the mod concerned but was told to ask the individual. Which I did. They also have no idea. They were given no warning but were just kicked out. Although I first asked politely privately and then in the main room, the mod basically ignored me.
I fully support mods as they keep the room free of a lot of things that I really have no interest in seeing. But at the same time I would like them to be more accountable to the people that they are supposed to be serving in their role. I think that there should be an agreed procedure for them to follow before booting someone. If not a warning then at least a message that says you are being booted for doing this.
I have been a member of this site for a number of years now and remember that we had an issue with over zealous mods before and it caused huge issues which ultimately resulted in them leaving the site and a whole new bunch of mods being appointed.
I don't want this to be personal, so I am not naming names but I think that we, as users, have a right to ask why someone has taken a specific action if for no other reason than to know what not to do next time.
I have the pleasure of living in a country were people in authority don't feel a need to explain their actions I come onto this site to get away from that.

Good lord the rules are standard and posted in the upper right hand corner of the room. They state:

1. No Sexual Discussion, or Sexual Activities in EITHER ROOM
2. No Crotch Shots. Faces on cam please.
3. If you do not want to be seen on your cam. Do not use it.
4. Be nice, no rudity harassing or trolling.
5. Flag users who do not follow the rules.
6. Have Fun!

Failure to follow these rules will cause your account to be banned. In addition to the above, the mods have been advised by the owners to the following:

The TOS states no soliciting and advertising. This mean no posting of links in the room.

Posting Skype addresses, email addresses and the like is considered soliciting. If you chose to share such personal information, do it in a Private Message.

Face on cam does not mean that you can set your cam on the floor or at the foot of your bed in a south to north shot. Your can be fully nude, or not, but the face is to be the focus, not your genitals.

Getting up to get a coffee or a drink is not bootable. HOWEVER, if I check your cam and you have been in the same standing position for a time, you will be screen shoted and booted.

The chat is for enjoyment the many, not the few that think it is their private cyber playground.

LOL I really do enjoy the ones who say they would not give a dime to this place but never leave. Here is a hint if you can't take the time to read the rules before using the site, stop, look, and listen. It's not that hard to see what is considered good behavior and what is not. You don't follow the rules, you disrupt the room, and yes that is up to the mods determination, you will get muted or removed from the room. This is the best site, and the reason for that are the job the mods do in the room. THAT is why your here. There are many sites out there with out mods, so if the rules are too tough, or the mods are too hard, there are other options out there for ya, good luck.

Politely may I ask where this ends? Are our chat room moderators to become teachers?If this is to be the case where do we start? Must our mods begin by explaining the rules of the chat room? Or maybe they start by explaining what nudism is about?
How many times have we heard of a 'chat room ban' being made public here? And when the harassed Mod in question eventually has to defend themselves we find that the ban was warranted?

While I do appreciate the job that these guys do, I still simply fail to see what it is considered unreasonable for then to send a pm that says "Cease to do [insert issue here] or you will be banned.
I also find it just down right rude that when asked a question the mod refuses to answer both in private and in the room.
I am a firm believer of the saying "with authority comes responsibility" if people feel they don't have the time or it not their job to inform then frankly they should give up the authority.
My final point, is that when an issue arises, it generally appears to be specific mods who can be trigger happy. All I would like is consistency in the room and some more clarity on the rules. It was a first to me to read here that showing you body as well as your face on cam may be deemed inappropriate. While I personally prefer just my face to be in the shot, others don't. If this is an issue then it should clearly state this in the rules.

Question, when a police officer pulls someone over for speeding, does he need to just warn them if they say they didn't know? How about running a red light, gee no one told me that was bad. While these are not State or Federal laws in here, so basics can still be applied, ignorance or the rules, lack of common sense, and common courtesy, is not much of an excuse. Does someone really need to be told that stroking their penis is not allowed? Does any one need to be told that asking women to stand up on cam so they can see their breasts is not really acceptable? I am a mod, and I have no trouble removing people at all, I would rather not, since really if everyone is behaving I can enjoy the room. However if push comes to shove it's really not a problem. It takes only a few minutes in the chat room to get a very clear picture of what is allowed and what is not. Also, NOTHING

As to questions, most questions asked to mods are answered, but asking a mod, or the room in general, if having an erection on cam is allowed, no one is going to waste their time. Males have been covering up their erections since they had their first one, most of us spent most of Jr. High with school books being carried in front of us, so not only if that question not going to be answered, it is going to get you muted or kicked.

I will not tell someone why I booted someone else, either in private or in room. I will only tell the person I booted in a private message and they ask. I respect their privacy. Most don't ask because they know why. I sometimes give warning but not all the time, it depends on the violation. If I warn someone that their face must be on cam and they turn it of and I find it on later and at same view I will boot without another warning because they have been warned. They got their first warning when they read the room rules. If you do not want a mod to check your cam, don't turn it on. I have gotten messages from another room user that a person was violating the rules and when I checked they cam, they blocked me. To me that is enough reason to kick because I feel they blocked me so I wouldn't see them breaking rules like someone had reported. I never kick on just a report, I check the cam myself before I do.

If you enter chat on here, you need to deal with the fluctuations and personal dysfunctions. Otherwise, it's best not to join in.

There are a number of mods commenting on here who are fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, not the ones that seem to be trigger happy on the booting.
Its not about naming names but I think that if you pulled the statics you would probably find huge variances in the number of people booted by different mods. And this to me is what I started about and was the subject of this original post. For me it is about consistency. If we really want the room to be such that you can only show you face and nothing else on cam at all times I am comfortable with it. As long as it is clear and consistent.
