Suggestions to improve the forums

Here are my thought on suggestions to improve the forums.
1. A like button like there is on profile and blog to indicate interest without needing to comment. Could also be like the Reddit upvote down vote

2 Forum notifications to know when someone replies to your post or post something in a forum thread you follow..

3 Ability to follow a thread and have new responses show on profile page.
