since the announcement of this new site, someone(NikiDaniels) suggested that TN could be made CERTIFIED ONLY.

I think this is a great idea and will immediately stop all the fake profiles.

In fact, if you introduce this policy(may need to give people a month or so), when it is in place, I promise to upgrade to paid membership.

would anyone else like to see this happen? I'm ready c/c in hand to reward you if you make this happen!

A practical issue is that some people don't have anybody to snap the picture while nude, and they don't have a self-timer camera.

If someone is serious enough to become certified then they will find a way to get pictures taken. I'mm sure if your a social nudist you will have at least one friend to take then as well. So I agree with the total site certification.

I agree that certification would help to eliminate all the lurkers in the cam room.

I did my certification pictures with my webcam.  Took video and froze stills from the video and sent them in.  Almost every computer has them built in now, and as stated all digital cameras have self timers.  I like the certification idea, but I'm not sure it will fly.  They have to stress that the cert pics are not required to be on your profile which I think most people assume they have to be.

I'm not sure that I would endorse a policy of required certification, but I would accept a severe limitation of places on the site where a non-certified individual could participate.

I would not endorse a requirement of a recognizable profile photo.

I second the motion for a certified-only TN site, especially in the chatroom.

We think it would be a great move to have certification. Would help to make people more confident about posting and entering the chat room if they felt they were with genuine nudists.
ALL PC's since about 2002?  have came with a built in cam.
OK, that isn't quite true. Almost, but not quite.
Cell phones, on the other hand.....
Except for me, I don't think I know anyone who doesn't have a cam in their cell.

Having watched this forum slowly build, I can see that there are many who feel as I do.  I am for the certified paid member only to build this site with even more integrity!  True Swingers can have the rest with all the sex implications and True Nudist can have the true nudust mindset!  Just think........True Nudist or True Swingers....seperated title indeed!  It is true that the total membership of TN would be lowered consideraby by doing this, but you would seperate the True Nudist from True Swingers for more corrective description!  Of course, there are those that would join (or already joined) both sites and I have no problem with that as long as the intentions of each site's operating procedures are abided by!

I have certified and paid because I understand there is a  need to know if I am real.  I also understand that TT1 and TT2 have trouble with the sincerity of some people on this site.  They and other volunteers that help monitor are overwhelmed with monitoring the site! Either way, the site needs financial support to operate!  I am a member (paying on some others also) on other sites!  Some others require paid membership "donations") to operate and cost more than this one!  I do not mind paying the small fee because of the versitility of the site. I am narrowing down some of those, but TN is one I plan on staying with!  On another thought.......very few sites require no paid membership/donations and my hat is off to those for their devotion to the cause at their expense!

This is just my own opinion and I know that each of us may have a different opinion. Some may not appreciate mine! That is OK! Don't criticize mine, just express yours and let's see where this leads later on!

Thank you TT1 and TT2 and all moderators/supporters for what you do!

I think that there should be more limitations for non-certified. In another thread there was comments about removing anyone who had not logged on in some time. Maybe for non-certified this should be a relatively short time (a few months maybe).  I myself was initially reluctant to get certified mostly because it is the internet and it is only wise to be cautious.   It might also be helpful to make more of a point when someone signs up that this is a nudist only site and if they are looking for a sex site they might find more of what they are looking for on true swingers.

Having been only new to this site, I took myself step by step through the options. I was somewhat apprehensive about it, however I gave it a go specially being a nudist for most of my life. I have not been an outgoing person in that respect and predominantly subdued
by previous textile partners, where nudity was subdued. This chapter is very well in the past now. Since I have joint with TN, it was difficult having some pictures to upload, as there was only textile pictures of me. MY certified pictures took quiet some doing on my own. I went out to Nudist beaches and approached some individual nudists about taking some nude pictures of myself and I'm glad to be here on TN. To what true swingers is concerned, I have not been there, as my foremost interest is, to meet with naturist people for friends and social activities, enjoying our freedom.

Certification pictures are trashed as soon as the member gets certified so there should be no qualms there. I don't believe that there is a requirement to post a profile picture. The requirement is to post the first photo of the member then the rest can be whatever, as long as it meets the guidelines of TN. I was very apprehensive about uploading any photos of myself until I read that the cert photos were trashed after certification. I finally uploaded a profile photo and one other but only gave permission to "certified" members. I have not been in chat and probably never will.  I am here to try to be helpful to others seeking this lifestyle. I also like to have firsthand information on great nudist places to visit. I hate it when I show up at a nudist beach and find people performing sexual things out in the open or to a resort where sexual things take place out in the open. I do not desire for my nude photos to be placed in some perv's blog. SO....I am FOR certifying all members. (And, I have already become a premium member.) It won't keep out all of the trash but will help.  My two cents.NP58

I love TN and participate every day. However, every year, when it's time to pay, I have to look closely at whether or not I can afford it. Due to my health, I haven't worked since November 2010. It would be really offensive to be excluded because I'm poor!Think about it.Tim

Apart from that it gives you the knowledge that you are contributing to the wellbeing of the website.
