Mar 28, 2013I accidentally discovered that images in a member profile even those with permissions set to friends only can be viewed by clicking on the thumbnails in the profile sidebar. It this a bug or a known feature of the site?
On a related note also discovered a non member of the site can view my profile by clicking on my profile image in the forums. Is there a way to fix that?

SteveMar 29, 2013The first issue you cite is both a known feature, and a bug, which has been commented on before but remains unresolved. Ithinkit arises when people choose to make their profile pics private, but don't mark each individual photo "friends only."
Profile pages, including the thumbnail profile pic, are not behind the password wall, and unless you say otherwise in your privacy settings, are listed in Google searches.ReactReply - EA
EarlDOriginal PosterApr 2, 2013
I did not know that you could view pics like that but as for the form that it so ppl can see who they are they can view the profile but not the pics. they would have to be members here and signed in to see any of the pis. So I would not have any thing that will tell who you are if you don't want any one to know. Leroy
Thing about the forum is that it doesn't require logging in can be viewed by anyone anywhere. The other stuff support says is a bug there will look into.ReactReply
