What`s up with the crazy forum post formatting?

Hi everyone,
It seems I can't post an apostrphe, line break or almost anything without a forum or group post becoming absolute dogshit by the time I hit the submit button!
I'm on a Mac.
Is there some text encoding issue I could get around it with?
Do you find it's all fine on Windows or Linux for example?

    Many things have stopped working properly on here since the last upgrade.

    And nobody is trying to fix it either.  Another reason I wont cough up money to the site like i used to.

    A solution has been found. http://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=2925&idt=105435&vpage=1
    use LibreOffice on whatever platform you're on and change smart quotes and dashes and ellipses etc to plain text ones. then paste.

    [quote]use LibreOffice on whatever platform you're on and change smart quotes and dashes and ellipses etc to plain text ones. then paste.[/quote] Still this is something that should be addressed by TN general admin.  Foreign characters and accents can't be used either.  And it's even worse when replying to messages; should you by accident use one of the above, the other party will only receive a completely blank message.  If TN is willing to become a global site, fixing this is an urgent must.

    I have created a ticket for techncial support to comment and act on this.
