I understood that one of the benefits of paying a lifetime fee, was that you were saved from the barrage of adverts on the site.Obviously I was mistaken as that is not the case and it seems to be a constant battle to rid the screen of the unwanted adverts.
Does anyone see any benefit in being a  paid member - or was that just a waste of money

I'll second that - I pay an annual membership, and have never seen an ad.

One of the reasons that this site must rely upon membership fees to remain alive is that there are no paid advertisements. Due to the subject matter, nudism, advertisers are wary of supporting such an endeavor. I pay dues to keep the site active and would suggest that others do the same.

And yet this is the ONLY site where these adds called me up. Have never seen them or anything like them on any other site, else i would not have raised the issue. Yes a bug is always possible but i cannot understand why it would only attack this site and on different pcs that i use. Perhaps my file on tn is where the problem lies

Perhaps you could copy the page with the ads and send it to TT1 so he can figure out the problem. You should not be receiving any ads.

This is a not TN.  It is a spy app loaded on your computer.  It keeps track of the keystrokes and webpages etc and then presents advertisements that they think will get your attention.
Look for the name of the publisher at the bottom of the add.  Google that to see exactlly how to remove it from your system.  The steps are sometimes lengthy but it has worked for me.
These primarily come from downloading "free" stuff like programs.  The junk comes along for the ride.  Good luck

Now housekeeping each of those but one is still giving angst.
