I am a single male.  I travel a lot on business.  I joined this site to make friends so when I travel I don't have to go to resorts alone,(as friends) .  People accept you as a friend and then never chat with u or interact as a friend would. What gives?

It is a good idea before choosing or accepting friends, to make sure they don't have many hundreds or thousands on their friend list. It is not possible to interact with so many friends, even if you were on here 24/7.  Also it is safer to have certified friends where possible.

I do hope you manage to find some genuine friends.

    Happy hunting,

    MOW.

Our stated goal is to meet all of our friends personally. Because of this we do not have a great number of "Friends". We go for quality and not quantity. At last count, we are approaching meeting about half of our friends. These people are what we call true friends and are not just numbers in our friends list.

I agree with that. And thus the reason why most of those listed in my friends list are local people whom I've already met or working to meet them.

There is no way in hell that someone can keep up with thousands of so call friends on a regular basis.

Many of those friends collectors just do it so they can see their pictures. In which case mines are all there for everyone to see. So if pictures is what they are looking for they can just check mines out. I just don't feel like being friend number 83528686 . . .
