  The first time I went nude in public besides the gym shower room was at the beach. I went mainly to see others naked but once I got naked, I felt different. I felt relaxed and comfortable. So it went from wanting to see people nude to always wanting to be nude.

  Mine was on our honeymoon in Jamaica. I mean I did the skinny dipping when younger, streaking in high school but as for becoming a nudist...
  The resort we stayed at had a nude section of beach (behind those 3 palm trees) so we went and checked it out. Didn't know how "he" would react but after a few minutes it was like nirvana. Even got o go snorkeling out front of there nude. was the best.

  I grew up on a farm in the Midwest. With the hot summers and a pond, skinny dipping every day was just a normal thing. Started when I was about 8 and decided life was better without clothes. From then on I was naked every chance I could.

  I started sleeping nude to be more comfortable at night and then just started being nude more at home. Im slowly trying to find other things to do nude like go to the beach (which isnt close) but feels great. A couple of my close friends know I like being nude and will occasionally hang nude as well for a relaxing night with drinks.

  Let it happen organically. Find a resort, club, or group near you and venture out. Be well read on the place's rules before you go and be yourself. Make sure you are being social, but respecting people's privacy at the same time. One mistake I see many new nudists make is misreading social cues, and they come off as intrusive.

  After years of following nudism sites and researching and being nude around the house I was near a resort and out of town and did it and went to visit and it was great.

  My parents were not nudist but they were not conservative and would be generally nude sometimes around the house- going from the shower and getting changed etc- I used to shower with my father until around 11-12 and when I hit puberty I decided to continue as usual and gained confidence to be around the house nude generally when company wasn't around. I think it made me more confident in general and my parents continued being nude around me so they must have felt the same way. I'm 29 now and still am nude around them when I visit.

  I discovered nudism through finding nude beaches on our French camping holidays.
  When we started selecting our camp sites by their proximity to nude beaches my wife joined in and now most of our holidays are at nudist hotels or resorts.
  After my first nude beach experience I started looking at nude swimming locations and we started going to organised nude swims regularly. I also did a half mile naked swim before work at our local open-air pool throughout summer and autumn until I moved away.

  i started in pool showers, seeing others shower naked i quickly joined, it was such a special bonding moment between people.

  as i got older, i slept naked, visited nude beaches and now on forums meeting like minded people.

  For my first time, I went on a none nudist holiday with my mom and her friend, and for the first few days we all sat around the pool together. But when those two are together, they're incredibly loud and embarrassing. I found out that there was a nudist beach really close to the hotel. It was always something I wanted to try(after all, I am a home nudist), but i'd never plucked up the courage to do it. So I figured I could either stay and endure their company, or take the opportunity to try a new experience. I was quite nervous at first, but as soon as the clothes were off, the nerves just fell away, and the beach was nudist only, which made things a lot easier.

  For me I started by sleeping nude I found out how great it was then I started going nude when no one was home and enjoyed it even more and the rest is history

  Was occasionally nude in the house since I got married.
  Once we bought a house with a pool, I would swim nude after dark.
  Then started sleeping nude. and soon after went to a clothing optional beach.
  When I retired, I got a privacy fence so I could swim and sun nude in the daytime and essentially stopped wearing clothes at home in warm weather unless we had company'

  I think it was watching the movie "The Silencers" when I was 10. It was the scene in the beginning of the movie where Matt Helm throws the covers off and slides into a pool/bath with a couple of girls waiting on him there. I started sleeping naked. From that age I was always looking for opportunities to shed my clothes. I remember skinny dipping in a friends pool instead of opting for swimming in my briefs. It just developed as life continued and opportunities arose to get naked. Its really not too complicated.

  I believe if you do a search you can find a club in NC to try. I would start with this website to see if you can meet anyone in a non-nudist public place to see if you can make a friend with like-mindedness (nudity). I think a club is best to go for when with someone. If going by yourself try a clothing optional beach.

  After 38 years I assume the statute of limitations protects them. What you say they did was illegal. They exposed themselves to a neighborhood child. If they are still around your story could really embarrass and hurt them. Why would you snitch on them now?

  I think this is fairly common on cruises. I had a similar experience. I suppose its because you likely won't see those men ever again so they tend to be less inhibited but it is a nice bonding experience.

  I found the opposite. The first cruise I went on had signs that nudity was not permitted in the steam room, (even though it was in the men's locker room).
  On the other 2, the steam rooms were inside the spa and required a significant fee to use.

  I really started being nude regularly when I bought my own house and moved out of my parents house.
  Before that, I grew up playing hockey and taking swimming lessons, so I was naked regularly in the locker rooms. Back then, I certainly wasn't comfortable doing it, but we didn't have much choice.
  I live in northern Minnesota, so when I bought my own house, I started sleeping nude because most houses up here don't have air conditioning. I started remodeling the house right away in the summer and it would get pretty hot in there, so, because I lived in the woods with no neighbors and no roommates, I figured why not do the work naked. That was many years ago. My wife isn't as open as I am, but we went on the Bare Necessities Nude Cruise in Jan this year and I spent 9 days naked with 3000 other naked people. It was great. It was the friendliest group of people you could ever meet.

  Find you a club nearby, a resort or land Club do some research like a hot springs or clothing optional beach or Lake.
  Don't just be a house nudists become a social nudist find other people invite them over to your house from a nude party. Just go out and get naked.

  I discovered a little hot springs in Northern California Wilbur Hot Springs in Colusa County when I was in high school, I first started going there to watch the naked girls and more and more I got used to being naked. And I loved the mineral baths at Wilbur Hot Springs
  And then I discovered near Sacramento Laguna Del Sol and Wilton California a clothing optional Resort I still have friends that live there in the Laguna Del Sol I keep inviting me to come on down and get naked with them

  Started with a dare back in the 70's when we ran X-country in school. Miles of woods, oppressive heat, and those awful cotton shorts made it feel like you were running in soup. And I'm sure the streaking craze had something to do with it.

  I continued to run nude as often as I could, one of my favorite feelings is when I'm done running and the breeze hits. Anyway, through my adult life I've tried to maintain as much as its practicable.

  I live in Ct in the US. no nude beaches and only 3 resorts on the borders of the state so they might as well be out of state. However a bi friend of mine bought me a day pass at a spa in a casino where we hung around the pool and locker rooms that contained changing areas, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and a lounge with refreshments. It was a slice of heaven that helped me feel more comfortable about my own body and being around other naked men of all ages. Was it a sexual experience in anyway some of you might wonder, obviously, a bunch of naked men does attract its fair share of interesting parties. But they all remained respectful of boundaries and permissions. From there I learned a lot about the differences, factual and opinionated about nudism, nudists,natuists and homosexuality. (More importantly I was able to receive free massages from people in or getting into the occupation and need so many documented hours of practice to become certified practitioners or instructors) I continued visiting the spas but did venture out to nude beaches afterwards and go hiking on clothing optional trails in VT. I will add one more bit before ending this reply. Erections, yes it was a problem in the beginning, my treatment for that was visiting asian massage parlours. What better why to desensitize myself than having a women rub every inch of my naked body 3 times a week, Cheap? Hell no, but damn it worked.
