Went there for first time in late summer 2022 and it was just fine. Some textiles walk by especially on weekends, but they keep to themselves near the waters edge and know what to expect. One time there was a problem with a guy who was picking a fight with nudists and cops were called and they came and hauled him off. Police leave the nudists alone. Weather is spotty, it can be foggy and you can still get a sunburn, so beware!
Pros: Close by for me and easy to find parking on weekdays. Great place to hang out.
Cons: Some of the guys (who seem to be regulars) get a bit obvious with glaring and naked women. If you go alone, just know that there should be enough men there who will protect your right to privacy and will stand up to these guys if you feel threatened.

I have watched many ships going under that bridge. Like to identify them by the flags or identification number if military.
Pros: You are actually in San Francisco. All the fun.
Cons: Always a cool breeze coming off the bay.

Public Transportation and Walking

By public transportation using the 38 Geary Bus headed west, get off at 25th Avenue. Walk north on 25th Avenue passing, Clement, California and Lake Streets and finally arriving at El Camino Del Mar. Turn right on El Camino Del Mar and cross the street to stay on the sidewalk. Shortly you will see the entrance to Baker Beach on the left. To get to the north nudist part of the beach, walk on the beach headed north to the rock outcropping which will be the nudist area. It`s about a 20 minute walk from 25th Ave at Geary Blvd. Enjoy!

This was my first time to Baker`s Beach. After all of these years I wonder why I waited so long to go. The weather was fantastic today. Just a wisper of a breeze. Water was refreshing to cool of in. It was so nice to finally go sunbathing, and not have to worry about having to cover up if someone walks by. A perfect spring day to lay out with my headphones on, listenning to Giants spring training baseball. The penis patrol cracked me up. A handful of men that kept walking up and down the beach. It is a miracle of the urban community that this beach exists. It is easy to get to. Clean. Not especially crowded. Mixed usage of women and men, naked. Because it is easy to get to, because it is an urban beach, lots of clothed people as well, but the nude portion is predominantly nude. Weather can be fickle. Very cold, windy and foggy in the summer. Best time to visit, early spring or late summer when the weather in the bay area is warmest.

I love this beach!

I went here today; the weather was nice and warm, most of the people were pretty friendly and I really enjoyed my time here! I was the last nudist off the beach at about eight o`clock P.M. and the beach was very peaceful then.... Overall a very nice experience! =)
Pros: Friendly people, warm weather, great scenery
Cons: It can be a little bit chilly later on...
